Affordable wedding invitations in Chicago area?

I want nice invitations but not too pricy(as they eventually will be thrown in the garbabe by guests).

Any suggestions/expereinces with reasonable invites in the Chicago and surrounding suburb areas?

We ordered and designed ours from David's Bridal website.  We ordered 150 and spent $230 on the invitations, labeled evenelopes, reception card, rsvp cards and labeled return enevelopes.  The great thing about them is that you can order free samples from them, which typically come in 5-7 business days.  This really helped us as we were able to see the real invite and what we wanted to put together and what was eay.  We went with a beautiful invitation that was mainly folding and no bows or assembly needed.

They also always have discount codes online for the invitations as well.

    Good Luck Laughing

Agreed. I was actually surprised at how affordable their invites were. Right now we're deciding between them and using our 50% off invites discount from the tux company.

I'd love to check her out, but I don't want to insult her with my little budget. She does amazing work - her website is beautiful!

exclusively weddings did my invites....its definitely nerve-racking buying them online, but they were inexpensive. and arrived quickly. and they were PERFECT. :)
  • If you looking for traditional or religious invitations cards, i suggest weddingcardusa.com
    or devonprinter.com

so far the only one with Indian Pakistani western African, Middle Eastern style invitations design cards collection. prices were extremely low.

    Good Luck!
  • I am using ETSY and then printing at Officemax.
  • I have not checked their prices, but Party City stores and some Hallmark stores offer services.
  • We used PS I Love You in Mokena.  Their invites range from $4.50 - $8.50 per invite.
