That's how I feel. I feel like I'm too old for Hollister, almost too old for most of the XXI stuff but too young for Gap and the loft. I'm only 22 - 23 in November, maybe it's that awkward age?

Well Ok I retract my first statement on here if it's to be known, I love any sporting goods store, you will ALWAYS find me where all the lures are♥♥♥

That honetly is where I go bonkers. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to lures. I absolutly LOVE fishing and I have no problem spending money on lures. Strange I know but true!

In college I wore scrubs everyday from 6-4 then I went to work and wore jeans and an ugly shirt covered in food stains. When I wasn't wearing that I wore jeans and t shirts so I shop anywhere I can find a 100% cotton v neck and jeans that fit. I like Gap and Express too but I'm a cotton freak and most of their stuff is a mix.

I'm 24 and I still feel like i'm in the awkward phase! I work in a bank so during the day i'm in dress slacks, button down shirts and pencil skirts, but at night I still want to look young without looking like i'm trying too hard :-/ I can't wait to be out of this phase. And does anyone else have problems finding clothes that are too high waisted or "motherly" looking or they're the exact opposite and too teeny bopper? That really frustrates me!

Calindi you'll feel amazing in a week or so.. I always super swell up when I start hitting the gym hard and I feel HORRIBLE about it. Even worse than not going to the gym.. but then suddenly all the swelling and water weight drops and I feel like a rockstar :P

mob- I tried fishing a couple years ago and was really excited about it.. until caught something and felt REALLY badly.. and cried.. />_< lol

This made me laugh! Not that you cried but in general.

I couldn't go out on a boat with out wanting to fish my heart out. Most cases, even if I am standing on shore just enjoying the view I feel like fishing instead and have but then I want to get the boat out in the waters because I see them(fish) further out than I can cast. So next thing you know, I get it ready and off I go!. Drives me insane, so I rarely just fish off shore. What was to be 10 minutes of relaxation turns into 3 hours of fun but no relaxation of sitting still and enjoying the views of the lake as originally planned.

haha oh the crying can make you laugh! I'm such a wuss when it comes to hurting animals.. >_< Everyone was laughing at me anyway.. I was laughing at myself because I knew it was ridiculous.. I eat Seafood all the time! I just couldn't do it myself.. haha

hah I don't think I have ever met a woman so addicted to fishing of all things!

Gah I hope so! Moving today sucks... I wish I could stay in bed! Thanks for the warning about bulking up first. It probably would have frustrated me if I noticed bulk without dropping any fat. FI has been trying to get me to join for over a year, but I kept saying it wasn't my type of workout. However, I met a girl in PI who just got married to a Marine (another JAG a year ahead of FI). She said she was 20 lbs and 2 sizes over her ideal when they got engaged, and by the time they got married, she had lost 15 lbs but 4 sizes! She was kicking her husband's butt at workouts. I just wanna lose 1-2 sizes, especially as I already bought my dress! But I definitely wouldn't mind beating FI at workouts!!!

FTL & AMH- I feel the same way about being "too old" to wear some stuff like AF, Hollister, AE.. I've always been a huge fan of The Gap, so I don't really have that problem.. But I never thought that at 23 (in 15 days), I would feel too old for any stores other than Limited Too and Justice..

I got this ADORABLE white linen sundress from Gap like 3 years ago, and I put it on and it was just like .. ewww. I looked like one of those creepy 30 y/o porn stars in a school girl outfit. Except that I'm not a porn star.. You know what I'm saying.. Maybe.. Hopefully..

Calindi- hahaha.. I totally kick FIs butt now at everything physical. He never thought that would be the day but then I plumped him up with good cooking

We are going backpacking today and I SMOKE him at that, even though he grew up doing it all the time. suckaaaah

I, too, have dropped about 15 pounds.. and honestly I did it without meaning to. I just got addicted to my gym classes, but now I have plateaued and have to switch up the work out. I did a whole new regiment this week and I am SOOOO bloated/swollen from it. Lame. But I know it's a good thing

Sami- haha WOW Limited Too I forgot about that store.. oh man... That used to be the coolest store ever.. I like Gap, but their stuff is hit and miss on how they fit.. I feel like there is something that is always slightly off on the fit (on me). BUT I just bought the cutest sundress ever from there the other day.

Target. My crush on Target is out of control. If Target were a boy in 8th grade I would be passing it notes that say "Do you want to go out? Check yes or no." Of course, after finding out about their political contributions, I try really hard not to shop there, but it's so hard. I buy a ton of vintage and am enamored of places like anthro (makes my secret manic-pixie-dream-girl heart happy), even though never in a million years will I be able to afford things there, or fit into many of them. I love going to garage sales for furniture and weird 60s style decor. My secret love for kitchen things is Sur La Table. So awesome. So very very expensive.
