There have been times FI has sort of agreed with FSIL. He's played yo-yo ALOT. He's talked to me, he agrees with what I say/feel. He talks to her, he agrees with her point of view. He's very much in the middle. So I've been where you are a lot. He's apologized for it, but there have been times I've had to take a step back and look at myself and think "do I really do that?" or "am I really like that?" and evaluate.

Self evaluating sucks.

he didn't agree that I wasn't right for him or a bitch. FSIL had said that I always have to be right. FI reiterated that last night,and it hurt, but it got my attention. I gotta learn to shut my mouth sometimes.

Today must just be a tired kind of day!

I've been completely dragging all day because winter of course means SNORING season and I got crap sleep because of it last night (FI snoring...not myself)...I haven't even had time to really relax at work because a project got miscommunicated and I've spent all day trying to rush correct it and get it back on track.

FI used to snore like a freight train. He actually had surgery to correct a bunch of different things, including shaving down the soft pallate in his mouth to help with his sleep apnea. It's worked wonders for him so far. Anymore, he just snores lightly if at all.

Mine was that I"m too controlling - or that I control him. He told his sister it isn't that way at all (and if she bothered to be a part of our life in the least she maybe would effing know that....) but then in a couple's therapy session (which has been awesome for our relationship!) he says that he feels I'm too controlling. WTF. Made me perk up and listen big time. I told him that maybe if he was more decisive or could declare or knew what he needed I wouldn't be so "controlling" - he agreed with that to a point. But I deff can see where I'm controlling and need to back off.

Stupid self evaluating and betterment.....bitches.

I'll admit I skimmed the posts... :)

I always have to be right, too. But I'm a very logical and analytical person so usually I actually AM right. I HAVE learned to back down if I realize I'm wrong, though. But my logic and analysis enables me to win most fights with H. It's just the way it is.
