How is Clyde doing?? I remember how worried you were about his vision.
this is jake, my family's black lab border collie mix. Hes 10 years old (see the graying "beard" he's got? ). We dont have any great puppy pictures, because we adopted him at about 8 months old. hes currently sleeping at my feet. this is the only picture i've got right now too....

Yes, I would like to find a dog similar to the one in the picture. I love small fluffy dogs.
I'm so jelous. I'm not allowed to have pets as long as I live at home. When FI and I move out we are planning on getting a kitty (for me) and a puppy (for him). I can't wait!
180 invited
145 are ready to party
35 are missing out
0! can't find the mailbox
rsvp's due back June 20th!
I'm more of a lurker here but also a proud mama so here are my babies This is the other woman Stryder...my FH had her before we got together and we struggled the first year but now we have become great sister wives
This is Stella, she helped my FH propose to me
And our problem child Oliver my little snuggle buddy and also my first male cat...SO much easier than females!
This is my baby Misty, when my friend discovered her abandoned by her mom (a barn cat) on her parents' property
And this is Misty as a kitten after a few weeks of eating properly
And my chub-a-lubs now, almost a year and a half-ish
This is FI's kitty, Justice. We live apart right now doing long distance but when he came to visit he brought her. Misty HATES her but I'm hoping it is just because she was invading her space (eating out of Misty's bowl here) and that once we move into our new place together after the wedding they will be ok.
I
ETA: Forgot to add, the next fur baby in the plans is a dog, if we find a place with a yard when we get married.
I don't like puppies (flame away - I find them super annoying and their cuteness doesn't make up for it for me), and want to adopt an adult dog from the SPCA, but FI wants a puppy. I just KNOW I would end up being the one to train it and clean up accidents, and then worry that I will resent the dog because of it. I also can't stand the nipping and biting and jumping up. I have never had a puppy growing up but as a kid we adopted a young adult dog and he was already trained, and I loved him so much. That's what I want to do again, and I don't think I'll ever change my mind.
Her name is Riley and she will be 2 at the end of the month .. I dont have any puppy pictures with me, however she is only slightly bigger and a whopping 5lbs
Here she is at Christmas time in her new boots
And here she is sleeping next to daddy like little human
We have a brood. These are the new pups. Charlie is the chocolate one and he's brothers with Cooper the tan one and then the runt is Gracie. We got them when they were 2 months old. Cooper is a loaner, Charlie is a total baby and Gracie is spoiled rotten and basically a barking rat.
This is Abby (the black one) and Smokey (the white one). We've had Smokey for 8 years and Abby for 7. Smokey is the grumpy old man and Abby licks everyone to death.
Apparently, it won't let me post anymore pics. I thought I had too many in one post, but I can't get them into this one either so I put them on these links and I haven't finished the dogs or even gotten started on the cats. We have a houseful!
Seriously, Clyde looks like a dog you could have a conversation with if you understood barking. Haha Is I
He super smart.
That's definitely the weirdest thing I've said in a LOOONG time! Haha.
Now to go get my sanity checked.... I think I need to be getting more sleep!
EDIT: I looked again, and he I think its because he looks like he has personality.... I'll stop now before i get myself any deeper.
This is my first baby Brooklyn And this is our new baby Beeker. He is a rescue and he is totally a little human. He has so much emotion and needs so much love. And he thinks he is as small as Brooklyn : )
And since you asked for cuteness, this is one of our cats, Devlin, back when he was a little kitten. He's a few years old now.
My blog
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." -Isaiah 61:10 NKJV
We have two cats of our own, but the whole family has three dogs as well. We want to get a couple of dogs of our own sometime. I want a cavalier king charles spaniel and FI wants a bulldog.
Anyways, here are pics of our kitty girls:
This is one of my favorite pictures of our oldest girl. She will be 13 in October. Her name is Ollie Belle, short for Olive Belle. We just call her Ollie. She is my first inside only cat and I love it. She cuddles up with us and gives us kisses. She really is my baby girl.
This is our other little girl. Her name is Peaches Nicole or Peachy. She just turned three on New Year's Day. She adopted us when she was probably about 6 months olds. She is an active little girl that loves feathers and laser. She can be a little fiesty, but that is what makes her so different from her big sister. She is such a daddy's girl too!

Too many! We started out with 2 dogs and 2 cats (one for each kid) when we lived in the city. Right before we moved, we got two kittens because we knew we were moving to the country, they needed a home and we needed rodent control. The neighbors asked if we wanted one of their miniature dachsund puppies that were born on Thanksgiving and we said sure. Before she came, the waitress at the winery in town asked if we wanted one of her puppies and when we went to pick one up, we ended up with two!
We're done for now, but FI wants a fancy schmancy hunting dog, but they're $1500 so that will have to wait until after the wedding and we are letting each kitten (they're actually mostly grown now) have a litter before we get them fixed so we'll keep one from each of those.
Of course, that doesn't include the chickens we'll be getting soon or the cow or donkey or horses! Yes, we are crazy!<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" />
To answer your questions about Clyde: He is doing great! Around Thanksgiving we were informed that he is completely blind...We know every once in a while he sees shadows...but other than that he uses his ears & nose!! He's doing awesome!! He gets around just fine...we've moved furniture a few times and he seems to do just fine after a day of adjusting Such a good boy!! He loves to play with his kong!! we'll toss it...he'll wait to hear it drop & run after the sound!

If you look closely, you can see Floyd's thumbs.
