bride to be shirts

ok, like my other question i also have a "bride to be" shirt. december 4th is my date so how soon can i annoy people with it?

Re: bride to be shirts

  • I would annoy people with it daily until "your date". Don't forget to wash it every Wednesday, whether it needs it or not.
  • At your showers, bachelorette party, RD, and day of. I wouldn't wear it outside those events

  • You're awfully concerned about your pre wife wardrobe. Where it whenever you want, you are technically a "bride to be" just realize people may side eye it.

I suggest you wear it at every opportunity every single day from now until Dec 4th. That way no one will potentially forget that your special day is coming up in only 5 months.

  • You have an engagement ring on; isn't that enough of an announcement that you're a bride to be? I mean, I get that you're excited about it all, but please trust me that no one else is that excited about it. By wearing these things all over, all the time, you may send an unflattering message about yourself.
  • I'm pretty sure it is only meant to be worn while you get your hair and makeup done on the day of your wedding. That's why most people get the sweatshirt kind that zips since you don't want to put a shirt over your head when your hair is done.
  • Dude, shut up!

  • ok, i had computer issues that doubled my question. i was looking for other excited brides but i guess im in the wrong place and i wont post any more.thank you to those of you who were nice but it seems that this is not a friendly place
  • I have a Future Air Force Wife t-shirt. I wore it one Christmas morning before we were engaged to freak out my parents. I also wore it last weekend while I was washing the dogs.

    Hope that helps!

  • I think any wearing of this shirt outside of bridal or wedding events should be strictly prohibited.

Even then it may be given a side-eye.

Tell me, are you planning to mash the cake?

  • I have two shirts that I love. I wear them as much as I can. My FH likes them too.

My other ones says I love my Fiance.

    Cafepress.com has the cutest shirts.

  • I am excited to be married to my FI. This does not mean I want to wear clothes that scream my engagement all the time. My engagement ring tends to do a good job of making my engagement known to those around me.

I am a very excited "bride to be," but I dont feel the need to jump into any clothing that screams it. Like PP, my ring is enough. No one is going to be more excited about the wedding than my FI and I are and thats ok.

You should only wear the bridal clothing to your bridal events.

BTW, Dec 4th is a great day...its my birthday, not that you care lol but good choice in a wedding day!

Good luck w/ the rest of your planning.
You've got plenty of time still for people to see you as the "bride to be" w/o needing your shirt to tell them.

  • You don't need permission to wear the shirts you want to wear. Just keep in mind that as with any piece of clothing, someone might judge you for it. But if you don't care, why does it matter?

Posted by danieliza1127
OP, I totally think you should wear your shirts every day that's left of your planning (I'd suggest you get more than one for this purpose; no one likes a smelly bride-to-be!). Don't forget to get some 'Mrs' and 'just married' shirts for afterwards, too, so that you have something to wear for the first year of the marriage! And then you'll need to buy some '1 year anniversary' shirts. I've been looking for these but had trouble, so if you find any, let me know. I can't believe how many people don't understand how important it is to tell every person you come into contact with about your upcoming wedding! Don't they get that this is totally the biggest life achievement that you'll ever have?! I mean, not everyone gets married!
In Response to Re: bride to be shirts : I am an excited bride-to-be. I don't need to wear the word bride on my body until Dec. 11 to show people how excited I am. Are you trying to trick yourself into being ready for marriage with all the "I'M THE BRIDE" garb?
