  yea- I did this off ebay and the dress came out bad- it didnt really look like the picture and the materal was bad.. so buy used off craigslist, bravobride, preownedweddingdress.com or go to the store and ask to buy the sample

  Or she could try these ladies that make custom gowns here in the US.
  Gioavoinnis Bridals. They have lots of pics of their actual work and many pics of brides in their dresses with testimonials. Their dresses are 300 - 525. It looks like they do very good work.

  I think danielle16_17 is right. I've heard of so many wedding dress scams on eBay and with a dress being from an entirely different country, the scam is so much easier. There is too much of a chance that, if the dress isn't what she wants, she may not even get it at all. Tell her to try popular sites with better track records. preownedweddingdress.com is awesome. It's easy to find an expensive looking dress that doesn't cost much at all.
