Ivory dress for a black and white wedding?

Since I got engaged I've had my heart set on a black and white wedding...only problem, the dress I've fallen inlove with is ivory-as a BRAND NEW sample at 40% off MSRP.  Is it okay to wear an ivory dress for my black and white wedding?

    yup. i think very few people actually look good in bright white anyway, ivory flatters most people's skin tones.

    Sure!  I am in the same boat as you!  I fell head over heels in love with an ivory dress, but my colors are hot pink, and black and white damask.....I considered changing my colors, but then realized that I didn't care what people thought of it since it's my day!  But, I really think it will look fine!

    We are in the same boat! My dress is ivory and the wedding is black and white with accents of blue and silver!
