Pittsburgh Area Vendors

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a Pittsburgh area vendor that will hold both the ceremony (I don't want a church wedding) as well as the reception. I have browsed on here and the 2 places I tried sadly did not have my date available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! If you know prices as well that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

what's your budget/how many people are you looking at?

Pittsburgh Golf Club, Phipps, Twentieth Century Club, The Rivers Club, Lemont, and the Gateway Clipper will all hold both the ceremony and reception.  I'm sure there are more.

What places did you try that did not have your date?  Gives us an idea of what kind of place you are looking for.  Also do you want North, South, East, West?

Zoo/Aquarium is a no-go for ceremonies. Reception only.

The Chadwick is in Wexford.  They have a patio and an indoor ceremony room along with three ballrooms for receptions.
    :)  Good luck!

Our reception is at the Renaissance in downtown, and while we are getting married at a separate venue, I know they do have options to have your ceremony there. Not sure about how many people they can accomodate for a ceremony, but they can fit 200 for a reception.

I second the suggestion on The Chadwick in Wexford. We had our ceremony on their outdoor patio and our reception inside one of their ballrooms. We had a great experience with them.

Springwood in Penn Hills is beautiful, but expensive.

Another place is Greystone Fields out in Gibsonia (off of Route 8).  If you are more laid back, this is a beautiful venue.  It is a little on the pricey side, however you can control costs with different caterers, BYOB and florists.

I know of a limo bus service that is the cheapest in Eastern Pa! I rented the bus for my batchlorette party @ a mere rate of just $100 per hr. Contact Transport Logic @ 412 953 1593 They have lower rates during week days. The coolest part was the bathroom and built in bar.
