I work in a cubicle. My co-worker is on the phone with his little boy and I heard my co-worker say in his daddy voice, "no, she didn't have the baby so don't ask her about it okay. She's really sad, so you just love on her okay, give her a hug and say I love you"

No I have no idea. Must be another family member. I know it's not his wife because he's going through a divorce. He's having a rough time lately.

Oh that's terrible! I just saw a house fire last week and now it' sall boarded up and I feel so bad for them having that happen right at the holidays. Does your co-worker have family or someone to stay with? I can't imagine losing all of my stuff, around the holidays or ANY time of year!

It was totally a downer day!

I had to tell DH that he couldn't play any slow Christmas songs or I'd just be sad. Fingers are crossed that Christmas Eve begins on a MUCH happier note!

Ugh, must be something in the water. The people in the apartment next door got into a huge fight. Like, he was yelling at her, and throwing stuff around, throwing her around, and she was sobbing and screaming. We called the police (and so did the guy across from us I guess, from when we met him out in the hallway to see WTF was going on). They showed up, kicked the door in....it was f*cking crazy.
