Hey date triplet!!  I was just thinking how fast time is going.  I am still working on narrowing down a florist.  We have done our hotel room block and pretty have the bigger things out of the way.  I want to get a list of must have photos together for our photographer and finally decide where we are going to have our rehearsal dinner.

Yay Date Triplets!!!! Oops, I mean Quadruplets (welcome to the family Fay!! LOL)!!!!!

I'm so glad to hear you all are doing well and plans are moving right along.  Sorry to repeat b/c I think I wrote all of this in other threads, but.....here goes!

    1) We signed on with our DOC and we are sooo pleased with her.  We are looking forward to having someone there to handle all of the day-of details!

    2) We are meeting with our third potential florist tomorrow - if she doesn't give us what we want, we will go with florist #2.  We didn't want to go with them initially b/c they charged a lot for the first estimate then they were somewhat rude when we told them we needed the budget almost chopped in half.  Then they changed their tune and became nice once I checked them - LOL.  So FI and I love their arrangements and they scaled everything back to fit in our budget but it doesn't look cheap.

) The STD drama continues, I emailed my friend/designer and told him I wasn't happy with the design and sent several examples of ones I liked.  He has not responded yet.  It's been about 4 days, so I'm getting to the point of emailing or calling him to see if he's pissed or offended.  Hope not, b/c he should still look at me as a client even though we're friends.  But you know how these things go..I've been looking at other invitation vendors online just in case!

    4) Honeymoon...ok FI and I are schizophrenic when it comes to our honeymoon destination!  First it was Costa Rica but then it's rainy season there in July.  Then it was Curacao, and the weather would be great but the more we looked at it, the more boring it seemed - LOL.  Now we're focusing on Belize b/c FI has a friend from there who said July is the rainy season but the showers last all of 15 mins and they are usually in the middle of the night.  We can deal with that!  We found an awesome resort to stay at, and we now have enough SkyMiles to get our free tickets to Belize, so I think we're booking within the next week!

    5) Pre-marital group classes start on 9/11.  FI and I have completed our pre-work and will go to several classes before starting individual counseling after that.  FI just told me today how excited he is about the classes starting, it was so cute!

    6) We registered for the wedding last weekend at BB&B and Crate & Barrel.  We had fun picking out stuff - BB&B was overwhelming b/c they have SO much stuff and C&B was too dang expensive, but whatever!  We are not putting a ton of stuff on the registries, but enough.

Fay, feel free to chime in and  tell us where you're at with planning!

Hey Cyndon girl, how are you?  I hope you are enjoying this cooler, less humid weather as much as I am!  I'm loving it!!!  So I was going to ask about your rehearsal dinner.  Are you thinking of a casual, cheaper one?  If so, I keep hearing about Dewey's Pizza as being a great place.  You could go to the one in Newport on the Levee and people could maybe go to the movies afterwards or bowl at Star Lanes...just a thought!  I would definitely consider doing that if we didn't already have our plan in place.

Hey Yas, thanks for the reminder of our 10 month mark..I completely missed it before this post!  LOL!  I have to tell FI and give him a big kiss!  LOL  So you are going to have a few whirlwind days in ATL soon - how exciting!  I'm glad to hear you were able to get all of that stuff done in a condensed timeframe.  We were doing the same thing when I was still living in ATL but coming up here to visit on some weekends.  It was like how many vendors can we meet with per day - LOL!  I hope your jobs are going okay and you are still finding time to spend some QT with Jason!

    Hey Cincy!!

You must have been reading my mind because I was just thinking of doing Dewey's Pizza for the RD the other day!  It's close since we will already by in Kentucky and their pizza is really good!  Not better than Larosa's, but good -LOL.  It will most likely be there or at Buca Di Beppo in Rookwood.  Is anyone having a breakfast for the bridal party the next morning?  The hotel we are staying at has hot breakfast for all the guest, for about $10.00 per person, but I was thinking of having it in our suite, since it is huge and just having the food delivered to the room.  FI doesn't know about this little idea yet, he is watching the budget like a hawk, so I have to be careful, :-)

As much as I love the planning process, I will be so happy when this year closes out!!  We lucked up on a DJ, one of my best friends is a well know DJ in the Cincinnati area and is doing our wedding as our gift.  I am still struggling with our processional music.  There are so many songs to choose from.  I wanted to use the song from the wedding in the Best Man (Beyonce' and Marc Nelson), but FI doesn't like that song, so I am back to square one.  He wanted to use "Never" by Jaheim when I come down the aisle, but I told him that everyone doesn't have to know that you use to be a playa, LOL!

We are doing breakfast just for family members the next day, so that helped with our budget.  We are having it at my FI's condo building so we can reserve space there for free!  We are having the same caterers do the breakfast that did the wedding and FI negotiated them down, so we won't end up paying a lot.  That's the only way we could do it!
