tracking midnight snacks

So last night I was up late and got hungry at about midnight so I had a bowl of cereal at 12:05 and then went to bed.   On MFP I tracked my calories for today- since it is technically today.  But now that I think about it, I think I should have tracked it for yesterday so that I don't have too few calories today. 
 
Should I retrack those calories for yesterday or leave it on today?

    I doubt it will much matter, but in my personal opinion I count anything before I go to bed for the night (no matter the time) as that same day (even if it's four am and I haven't slept yet.)

    Thanks for your help!   I ended up tracking it for yesterday. It made more sense than doing it today.
