FAIR WARNING - "BLUNT" VENTING
The sense of entitlement here is disgusting:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100624/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/van_der_sloota) Perhaps you should have considered "your rights" when you permanently violated those of Natalee Hollaway and Stephanie Flores.
b) Your confession matched up with video evidence, crime scene logistics, and the medical examiners report on the body. You confessed thinking you'd be able to sweet-talk the Aruban government into fighting to have you extradited to Aruba to serve your sentence there, as you will likely be
massacred once you hit the Peruvian prison general pop. They didn't play ball. Confession FAIL.
c) Your rights weren't violated. You were given a court appointed lawyer, you were held on strong evidence of having committed a crime. Just because Daddy isn't around to bail you out this time doesn't mean your rights were violated.
While they aren't serial killers, I see this crap from my students on a
daily basis - the sense of entitlement, the mentality that everything should be handed to them just because they want it, the mentality that
they know everything and you're just an imbecile, or couldn't
possibly be as knowledgeable as them, the idea that you're worth your weight in Gucci purses, Ed Hardy t-shirts, Prada sunglasses and tanning booths.
