Is anyone else getting married @ Lake Oak Meadows

I was just wondering if anyone else was getting married at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula. I was just wondering what u thought about having to use there approved DJs and any other vendor ideas

    I have never heard of it, sorry. Welcome to the board though! The girls on here are super helpful so hopefully someone will be able to help.

    When is your wedding?
    Do you have colors picked out?

    Yeah, im new to this thanks:) We r getting married Oct. 1st. Im having a tough time planning cause although I grew up in temecula we r currently living in Washington so i have to do most of it from up here. But my parents r still there so they have been a lot of help. My colors are purple and white. I cant wait its going to be so pretty

    Unfortunately, I don't have any info on your venue either :(
    Maybe someone has heard of some of the recommended vendors though. Who is on the list?

    Purple and white is going to be very pretty! The girls on here always have great ideas so if you need any help with any details-centerpieces, dresses, invites, etc let us know! :)

    On May 29th...

    The DJ thing made me a little bitter just because of the pricing on some of them but we ended up going with Brian... Good time entertainment (i think).

    Rose is my coordinator and i love, love, love her.

    I'm using Timeless Portraits Photography by Rhonda.
    I know one of the photogs is the owners wife and they "highly" recommened her.

    For the cake I'm going with Debbie at Cakes to Celebrate...

    A girl that use to be on here got married there. Her pics were beautiful! She said that everything went well the day of...so I'm assuming the dj was good =) Sorry I can't help much.

    My FI and I were looking at this place we found out about them at the OC Bridal Expo. The place is gorgeous but I'm also iffy about having to use their recommended DJ and vendors especially since we are on a tight budget and have other vendors that are being recommended which much better pricing. I have this location on the maybe list so far.

    Thanks guys. That does help a lot. I love the place but yeah the DJ thing bugs me cause I have a friend that wanted to do it for us as a wedding present. Oh well. Im not getting married till Oct. 1st so i havent met my coordinator yet. What r your colors?

    i know one reason you must use one of their DJ'S is because of the strict sound ordinance out there (music must be to a certain volume by 10 pm)...

    but i hear they also want to build a building where the dance floor currently is with a loft on top...
     
    I am hoping with this being done they will be able to open it to all DJ's and the music can go longer which means the reception will last longer!
