Mandalay or Paris ceremony????????

SO, out of all the possible venues to choose from in vegas I have narrowed it down to Mandalay or Paris.. I'm so ready to book, but I cant decide!!! :(

Have not seen either hotel/chapel in person so dont know what to expect, but from reviews and pics they both look like beautiful places to get married.. both are about the same price but package at mandalay we're considering wont have dvd while paris willl..

Is anyone pretty familiar with these chapels/hotels or have scouted them out??
Which grounds will make prettier pictures???
I am wanting to use Chapel Du Paradise in Paris or the indoor ceremony at Mandalay for 40-50 guests.

Anyone married at Paris or Mandalay have a great or not so great experience???

Who would you pick and why? PLEASE HELP! and THANKS!

You can see my pics and reviews of Mandalay Bay in my bios, we were married there last year.

We picked MB pretty much because of location (traffic not so bad on that end of the Strip) and access to some great restaurants (we had our reception dinner at Rumjungle, which is now sadly closed).  Also, we liked the decor very much.

From our shopping around, we came to feel like the Paris chapel was more traditional and MB's was a lot more contemporary.  Both are wider than they are long, my FI preferred a long walk down the aisle, so for her Caesars was perfect as they have a really long chapel with 14+ rows, but we ended up choosing a restaurant for our ceremony anyway so didn't end up using anyone's chapel.

As far as grounds, I think Mandalay has Paris beat in that regard except for the Eiffel Tower of course.  There are lots of cool places around the MB property to shoot photos, valley of the falls, tropical areas, etc.

Guests will probably find it less expensive to stay at Paris (and Ballys) than MB, although Luxor is a good MB option for lower priced rooms, just not quite as easily accessible as Ballys is to Paris.  Other benefit to Paris is central location if guests want to go see other things; they'll be cabbing it from MB but could walk from Paris.

Agreed with PP-- Paris and MB have COMPLETELY different styles, so it depends what you're into.  MB indoor chapels (and MB itslef) is more modern/contemporary, with simple design, clean lines, etc.  Paris is more "ornate" and classic-looking.  I must agree with Vegasgroom on the grounds, though-- MB has Paris mostly beat there.  Good luck!

A dvd of the ceremony would be the kicker for me. Does MB not offer this, or is it just too much $$? I want it so I can always remember every detail and also so people who aren't able to come to the wedding can see it if they'd like.

in the opal shores package (among others) at MB a DVD is included. If i had to guess  most places prob charge at least 75 for it if its not included

Not sure if Paris offers it but MB offers real-time streaming of your wedding on the website, and people can pull it up later, if you pay for that option.
