I know it's early, but I want to think about somethign other than work. What's on your holiday wish-list this year?

    This is a good question.  I am curious to see what people say.  My FI asked me to make a list, and I can't think of things...haha

    I just posted the same thing on my month board a few days ago.  I am having trouble coming up with a list.  FI and I are definitely sticking to not getting gifts this year (we said this last year but he broke the rule and I got a big sparkly diamond).  I asked my parents for black uggs, a rolling duffel bag from L.L.Bean and snow boots.  My mom also told me she is getting FI (but it's for both of us) a waterproof digital camera for our Hawaiian honeymoon.  We don't have much to register for and we have 200+ guests for our wedding so we decided not to do our registries until after the holidays.

    I have to come up with a list for FI's mom and her side of the family, FI's dad's side does a Secret Santa, and my mom's extended family chooses names (not secretive).  I'd love to hear what other people want to try to get some ideas.

    My DH said he knows what I really want. I don't even know what I really want! I asked for the couple Harry Potter movies I don't have (please don't laugh). My MIL is getting us a down comforter, which is AWESOME. I guess I really just want to re-do our bedroom, but its nothing you can really put under the tree.

    Oh fun! I am in desparate need of a new pair of UGGs :) Also, new coach sneakers. FI got mine for me a few years ago and they've about had it, but I love them! I have no clue what to get anyone yet, and its coming up so fast...need to start working on my Christmas shopping list!

    I have no clue what to get anyone, and I have no clue what I want! Down comforter is a good idea...I'm stealing that one! lol. I think FI and I are going to set a limit for how much we spend on each other this year. Gotta save for the wedding...

    There are a few books on my list but that's about it. I was going to ask for the Clarisonic facial cleanser system, but I broke down and bought it for myself. haha. I'm impatient..

    The Kindle Fire seems pretty cool.  I asked FI to agree to no presents, but he's very bad at that, so one of us will probably end up feeling bad lol.  Between going on vacation next week, selling my condo, and the wedding, we have zero $$. 
      As far as family, I'm asking for a few little odds and ends for around the house.  We don't really have enough to register for the wedding since we have almost everything we need.  So we're registering for our honeymoon, but we need things like, one extra large mixing bowl, or salad tongs.

    I need a new black purse. I am not sure if H is qualified at buying one I would love, but I am never shy at making suggestions ;)

    FI and I are buying each other our hotel in PR the night before our cruise for christmas:)

    Besides that, the only things we're asking for are a new vacuum and some new clothes/gift certs for clothes.

    iPhone! i reallyyy need to upgrade my "dumb phone" :) a new purse is a good idea too...mine's getting pretty beat up!
    we also need a vacuum; ours crapped out, and we have one on our registry... but don't want to wait that long, so we might ask for it for Christmas.

    My wedding shoes, supplies to create a nice recipe binder (I have an e-mail chain of over 30 messages & like a hundred+ recipe links I've sent myself) and some Lush products. 

    I can't believe it's already November 9th... since Matt & I got engaged, I feel like the rest of 2011 has flown by!
