Wedding Woes

Confession

I dvr-ed Scream 3 because I couldn't remember it as well as the first two.  I plan to watch it this evening.

I plan to see Scream 4.  Not in the theater (because I don't care *that* much about it to pay $30+ for a trip to the movies with DH), but I'll rent it when it comes out.

I feel like I *have* to see it, since I invested time watching the first 3 movies.  I did the same thing with all the Saw movies.

H really wants to see Scream 4.  And Fast Five.  He has horrible taste in movies.

I've done this with the Saw movies too, even though the last few are starting to register high o the eyeroll scale.  Haven't seen the last one yet, though.

    dear mr. o:

do you want to go out on a date night with me to see "fast five"?  we can leave our no-fun spouses at home.  maybe they will go out on one of their loser runs for losers while we will be eating popcorn with extra butter-flavoured topping and milk duds.

    let me know --

I want to see Scream 4. Maybe next week, after we get paid.

Also, I'm really, really glad I can go to mid-week matinees. H and I pay $9 for the two of us to see movies, and that's first-runs. If we wait and go to the cheap theatre on Tuesdays, it's only $4. Add some homemade popcorn, canned sodas, and a giant purse, and even crazy cheapasses get all the fun of the movies.

Ditto, and add all of my wasted time on the Saw movies for the same reason.

    Nola, you watched SAW movies?!

I refuse. I can't believe so many people can watch torture. I can barely watch someone break a nail.

My confession: Scream is the only 'scary' movie I've ever seen.  I saw it in the middle of the day with a bunch boys in HS.    I laughed at the funny parts and everything.

I had nightmares about that movie for weeks.  I still don't like to be in public bathrooms alone after watching it.

    I'm a total chickenshit.

My confession is I don't watch scary movied. I had nightmares after The Day After Tomorrow. Yes, nightmares about a movie about weather.

i do not watch scary movies, either.  i will do so only in broad daylight, filtered through one hand while the other is on the FFWD button.

Yes, I have shared my love of scary movies before. <shame>

The only ones I don't watch are devil related movies, except for the Omen cause that one is just must watch tv.

I love scary movies at night, in the theater or at home, snuggled up to someone safe.
