Hmm, which good morning post to choose.....

Morning! We have off on Friday so my week is short too. I can't wait to sleep in on Friday.Today I need to clean off my desk, put away the Christmas decorations. It makes me a little sad. But, I am going to keep the bear H got me for Christmas because it's super cute and smells like butterscotch. And it makes me smile whenever I look at him because I think of H.

Oh, that reminds me, need to change my sig too.

We've still got a lot of unpacking to do....pretty much all of it, but I'm happy living amongst boxes for now

Now, if only I could do something about all of the black ice outside.....

Morning. It's not very good for me. I woke up an hour late so I had to rush around and am now finally at work 45 minutes later than normal

At least it seems everyone else around here is running late as well.

Good Morning.

I'm up too early and now happy about it but trying to be happy about it. Lowe's is officially the early delivery guys. i scheduled delivery between 7am and noon and sure enough, 6:50 phone call saying they were almost here. I grumble, but we DO have a spiffy new snowblower sitting in the garage in preparation for Mystery Storm set to arrive on Friday. Now to contemplate whether we'll have a new year's blizzard. I figure I should think on it since the weather guys obviously have no clue.

I share your sadness, since I took down the Christmas tree yesterday. I need more space in the living room for our family get-together on Friday.
I'm taking the dog on a long hike today, and need to get into work email and check for anything urgent.

Good Morning.

I had my first wedding nightmare last night and woke up this morning only to have to return to what I'll refer to as my "career nightmare".

A couple of emails I got have me fuming right now. That's pretty much it for me. I'm going to drink some coffee and try to calm down.

Thanks! It's one of my favorites. I want to get it enlarged and framed but we don't have the wall space right now. I'll be taking down the tree this weekend, maybe. Depends on whether or not I remember to ask H to get the boxes out of the storage closet....

Good morning! I woke up in an industrious mood this morning, so Christmas is almost totally put away and my pile of potential regifts is neatly stacked in the corner. I need H to come deciper some computer parts in the spare room, but I should be able to have that completely clean today. Anyone want to come over and hang up art for us? We have plenty and no clue where to put it.

I'm going to try to get some exercise since I haven't in over a week, and I'll make our financial plan for the year. Spreadsheets are my favorite. Seriously!

I'll be working at a university, helping shape the online/distance education program. ZOMG! I'm freaking out! Bonus: $10k pay increase! Squueueee!

Hi!
I'm so sleepy today. Its been hard adjusting to going to bed at a decent hour and waking up early. The cold weather makes it much more difficult too. :P

I'm still trying to get caught up on work stuff, especially before the end of the year but I am very ready for Friday!! I'm thinking about sleeping in, cleaning a bit, lunch with a friend and taking myself birthday shopping.

Milkduds- how scary Exciting though!

Good morning. The puppy is causing me to sleep less as he needs to go out at least twice during the night then whines when we put him back in the crate afterword. I don't blame him, but it would be nice to sleep past 6 when I usually don't get up until 8. He also bites constantly, but the training is coming along ok. I can't wait until the little punk is old enough to sleep through the night and doesn't need constant attention when he is awake.

B, surprisingly it does work. I'm a walking contradiction. : )

Sesh - the emails were just from one of the managers. I just get pissed off when it comes to designing things and then I have someone come along who knows nothing about design and say they don't like the "white space" or that we should make the words huge. I want to turn around and say, "why don't you save yourself the money, get rid of me and you can make everything look shiitty for free". I have no problem with constructive criticism, it's just that none of this is constructive. It's just a never-ending cycle. I'm sorry if I sound like a brat right now.

Stacey - the wedding nightmare was about how suddenly it was the wedding day and I had nothing done. No dress, no flowers, invitations hadn't gone out, deposits weren't paid up. It was just horrifying. In my dream I was like, "HOW didi this happen?"

CONGRATS MARA!!

ETA: Oh and somehow someone thought it would be a good idea to send out a pdf document showing scanned employee info to a whole bunch of employees I've never met in our Texas office. So now there's a bunch of strangers who have my SS#, Bank account # and routing #. Awesome, huh?

I'm supposed to be busy today but I'm taking off tomorrow for my birthday so I guess I can deal with working today.

I'm also downloading books on to my kindle like there's no tomorrow. I think Amazon will love me/my bank account will hate me.

I understand, LTZ. We deal with the same thing, managers who don't know how to write or design and openly admit that, then tell us what we're doing wrong? Doesn't make any sense and it's so frustrating.

Good morning! I'm feeling back to normal today, thank goodness. I'm hoping to have a productive day of finishing cleaning the kitchen, doing a little laundry, trying out my EA Active game, and packing to head home to my parents' house for a few days. My mom got a treadmill, and it's the one we're thinking of getting, so I'm excited to try it out.

Sesh- Thanks. We named him LowKey. I think Thor has a brother named Loki, who is the god of mischief(?) so FI liked it and the kid thought it was adorable so win win, he finally got a name after two days of being home.

The best part of having the pup is seeing FI get worried and have separation anxiety when we go out anywhere other than work. He is so worried the little guy might be lonely so he wants to take him to work every day.
