F/U to what should I wear on my feet

What do you ladies think of these?  I am wearing ballet flats for the ceremony and reception.  No heels.  These would be for outdoor pictures.

When is your wedding? Would they be something you would wear beyond the wedding?

I'm pretty traditional and don't love the idea of boots/rainboots/flip flops worn under formal dresses.  Unless you are walking through major snow/rain puddles, I don't think it is necessary. How long will you be outside taking pictures? Will your ballet flats not cut it? If your feet get cold and you want to go inside from taking pictures, the warm uggs won't really help you keep warm in any place other than your feet.

However, if you love the shoes and plan on wearing them beyond your wedding day and you really want outdoor pictures of you in a wedding dress and uggs, then they fit the bill perfectly!

Are you going to do pictures where you can see them? I love my Uggs for comfort, but not for style. If one or two pictures will have them, fine. If more, I wouldn't want Uggs in every picture. But they are comfy and will keep you warm!

It will just be for the few pictures outside of the private reveal with FI and I.  I dont think you will be able to see them unless I specifiacally move the dress. I just thought they would be warm and fun to wear.  i would only show is some pictures not all.  I would for sure wear them again.

    I vote no.

I second that... and I love uggs but maybe not for the wedding photos.

I'm leaning towards no. I know you are trying to stay warm but if you are only going to be outside a little bit I don't see the necessity.

I think it depends on you. If you're the girl that lives in them during the winter it may be fun to have you in a few pictures with them, since it's your personality. Then you can look back at them with family members and they would get it because that's you.

Besides you do have ballet flats as well, so I'm sure you will be doing photos with both pairs of shoes.

i m going to have to agree with girls above and vote no. i love uggs but i feel like there is a time and a place for them. i like the idea of trying to take pictures outside and be cute, and i def think if it is raining, cute rain boots can be fun and memorable in wedding pics. rain + umbrella + rain boats is kinda creating this fun setting. In your case you might need some more props to pull off a fun pictures like adding some fur (fake fur obvi) or a fun winter coat and if it was snowing it would be perfect.. just your wedding dress and uggs is strange unless your FI also sticks on a rugged pair of boots in the pics too...

I agree with the others and vote no.  I think the Uggs will take away from the elegance of your pics rather than look like a cute touch.  They are just too casual even if its only some pics.

I was toying with the idea of wearing uggs too but then decided against it.  I feel like it might look sloppy instead of cute.

I agree with everyone else.  I think anything outside of a dress shoe would cheapen the look of my dress.

I'll be taking pictures outside as well so I'll be investing in these little guys to keep my heels from sinking into the dirt: http://thesolemates.com/.

    Good luck.
