What day of the week is your wedding on? Saturday

Are you serving cake and punch, apps, lunch, or dinner at your reception? Passed apps during cocktail hour and then a 3 course meal with cupcakes/canolis for dessert

How many people are you inviting? Probably close to 175, I wanted 150 but I know a lot are courtesy invites so we are probably okay

Are you playing games at your reception, or just having music and dancing? We have a DJ and there will be dancing and a photobooth

Are you planning an after party? No but my BM's already are organizing one haha

Are you planning pre-wedding festivities (besides the Rehearsal dinner)? One of my BM's is having a bridal party get together/engagement party for us next weekend, then we will have the traditional bachelorette night out and bridal shower. I think we are doing a spa day on the day of the rehersal for manis/pedis and the hotel supplies us brunch the next morning so we'll do that

How long have you known your MOH? her whole life, my not-so-little little sister

And just for fun...What's for lunch today? PB & J and I just realized I never ate my apple

We could have easily topped our guest list at 400+. About 100 people in FI's family (we aren't inviting all of them), my family is much smaller, maybe 50, FI and I have a lot of friends through sports, school, work.

But our guest list of 250 includes about 120 family/relatives, the rest are family friends or our friends. We weren't able to invite a lot of our good friends- our guest list was already way over the limit. It was very diffcult trying to trim down our guest list.

People around here (northern Minnesota) usually invite everybody they know, I know somebody who had <strong>600</strong> guests at her wedding, the entire town was basically invited. There are some people around here who don't seem to understand why we can "only" have 250 guests.

How many people are you inviting? 160 our receptiosn max...it's gonna be a packed house hehe

Are you playing games at your reception, or just having music and dancing? music and dancing and then that game where the B&G hold one of each shoe and stand back to back and raise the shoe of which ever one they think is the answer to the question (like... who hogs the remote, who wears the pants...etc) saw it at a wedding last summer and it was too too cute.

Are you planning an after party? Our reception wont end till like 1am and like a pp said we'll have other things to get to at that point... if we haven't fallen asleep hehe

Are you planning pre-wedding festivities (besides the Rehearsal dinner)? They'll be a shower, bacelorette party and Rehersal Dinner but other than that no b/c most of our guests wont be coming in till the day before.

How long have you known your MOH? since she was born, it's my little sis

I consider all of you 100+ ladies lucky! I wish we could afford to invite that many people. And we easily could, no doubt about it. My family is enormous! Fortunately for our wallets, most of them are in the US and won't be able to make it. Otherwise we'd be in the 200s easily. And I'd love to really, I loove large groups and being surrounded by friends and family.. my secret wish is that in the end we'll be able to invite many more hahaha! However that's not the case. Guest lists give me a headache overall.

Well theres a bunch of games we could have that the DJ does, but we're thinking things like the shoes game where Fi and I will each have 1 shoe of the other persons plus our own we'll have our back aganist each other and the Dj can ask questions lik e' Who is mostly likely to ask for directions if they get lost' and whoever we think it is, thats whose shoe you lift up.
Theres the "wedding wheel' where each section of the wheel has something a guest must do if they land on it like "you must sing", "B and G must kiss" "you must dance" "kiss B or G" etc.

Inviting 174 (that's cut from 200+) but 14 of those are courtesy invites to people we already know cannot make it (which is okay, our room only holds 160!)

I personally am not planning much, my FIL's are doing the rehersal dinner, my mom and MOH are doing shower #1 and my roommate and another BM are doing shower #2 (I'm FROM 6 hours from where I live now, so 2 showers are necessary), and all BM's (except FSIL) are planning the bachelorette together

12 years, but from the day we met it was like we had known each other forever

No rehearsal dinner for us since we do not have a wedding party. We are having a Friday Night welcome dinner in a park in Jackon and ordering pizzas. Outside also.

I do not have a MOH, no wedding party. Honestly, I don't know what the purpose of MOH are. I don't live near anyone anyway.
