So, we first visited our venue back in June. We couldn't book until one year out, but when October 13 rolled around the coordinator kept telling me to wait and bring the deposit to our meeting. I was then informed by my venue that she had quit with short notice, and could meet with the new coordinator, but not until after the new year. We mailed our deposit and met with the new coordinator in mid January to go over some details. She emailed me on February 2 and said she was working on our contract. 25 days later and still no contract or word from email. I emailed her today to see what was up. So, we've been working with thus venue for 8 months and still have no real idea of what the cost will be. Am I bring pushy? Shouldn't we have signed a contract by now and have some real numbers?
