Do I need to buy Corsages for MOB and MOG?

My wedding is 58 people including the wedding party. We just had the experience of attending my fiance's sister's wedding where she purchased corsages for the MOB, grandmothers and her fiance's mother and grandmother. Their wedding was over 150 people. The MOB and grandmother did not wear the corsage and left it on the table at the reception.

I do not want to purchase corsages as I feel like they will not be appreciated like they were not appreciated at the other wedding as well they are just an added expense.

What should I do?

    i dont think you have to .. it can be such a waist ... I am on the same boat and thinking I will not buy them either.

    you must ask both mothers what their feelings are concerning wearing  flowers.Maybe a small clutch bokay would have been a better option,especially if the matrial on a dress is sheer and the flowers are heavy.Maybe they didn't want to risk damageing their dresses.
