  • Dmill, have you tried the Unisom/B6 cocktail yet? Unisom at night (hour before bed) and B6 (50-100mg) in the morning to offset the drowsiness. That's what I was recommended for m/s too. It did wonders. I still take a Unisom once in awhile to knock me out. :)

I'm impressed you're staying awake until 10 as is. I was going to bed around 6:30-7 most nights, no lie. It was also February and pitch black out by then, which didn't help.
  • I'm not pregnant and I barely stay awake until 10.  I am one of those people that requires a lot of sleep to be able to function during the day.

While this is over the top, I'm all for new threads being started.  Maybe it'll liven the place up a bit.  I could use some distraction today.

<div>This is me.  I like to be in bed WELL before 10 but that doesn't always happen.  I get up at 5 every morning.  Sometimes I think I sleep too much so that could be another issue.  However, on the weekends I'm lucky if I sleep past 7am regadless if I stay out late.</div>

  • Morning y'all! Seems we all have some bitch about work today. Blue, I'm preaying for success for you today!

Nebb, I was away from TK for the part where you went from having nothing to do at work to having to do everything all at once, but it seems like it is just a rollercoaster of extremes. I hate when my job is like that too.

  • Good morning ladies!

I am so sick of having too much to do at work. Sounds lame but being busy all the time isn't fun.

So I didn't go to work today...I'm in Fargo, flying out to VEGAS today. Super excited for 95 degree weather. :) woop.

    have a good day, guys!

Thanks, anything that can help with m/s I'll try. I think it's starting to slow down a bit, but I still feel crummy for a big part of the day. <div>
</div><div>I my schedule before I got KU was bed around 11:30 and up at 6, I've never been a person that needed a lot of sleep. Since I've been KU, I usually take a 30 min nap when I get home from work and then still go to bed between 9-10. I got distracted with angry birds last night and didn't get to bed until almost 11. I might nap in my truck at lunch today lol.  How are you feeling now? Are you past all of the terrible symptoms yet?</div>

  • I just ran down to put some things in the fedex box and noticed while I was coming back in that someone's car had lights flashing. I made note of the space number and went up to the suite for building management. I tried telling the person at the front desk and she essentially brushed me off and answered the phone while I was mid sentence. They are reserved spots so she could have easily looked up the person and let them know.

I would be pissed if I went out and my battery was dead but it could have been avoided.

Alright. Thanks, Pirategal. Just looking for some guidance\advice. I've been lurking for a while now from my cousin and sister's accounts, and i decided to make my own. But, i've been seeing so many train wrecks these passed couple days. Girls just freaking out. Anyways, thanks again.
  • Never been to Vegas, and we are going for my gf's bachelorette party. I have no expectations, just looking for 3 foot margarita, a few hours by the pool and lots of girly chatter.

What's funny is the four of us going today all got spray tans and we all look kind of streaky. Classy ladies, we are.

  • Have fun in Vegas Jenna! I am super jealous of that hot weather.

Acaponi- I just watched it (the american version) this last weekend and I just don't remember the book being so violent, but the movie sure was. Or I thought the movie made a point of showing all the rape scenes, so maybe it just seemed worse ??

That's a good point.  I guess it just feels different when someone whose name is recognizable starts a random poll, instead of someone new coming in and asking questions because they're trying to get to know us all at once.
  • Yeah I wanted to read the book first but with the wedding so close I am sticking with books that don't make me think lol. I've heard the first 100 pages of the book are rough so hopefully now that I've seen the movie it will be easier. And yes the rape scenes were horrible. Ugh that will stick with me for awhile.
