The last 9 months have been a very hard time in my family. My grandmother had a massive stroke last September and was placed in a nursing home. She had several times where they called the family in thinking she was on her death bed. However, she was always able to pull through these spells.
This morning, my sister sent me a text saying that my grandma wasn't doing well at all. She could not get warm regardless of what they did for her, her blood pressure was very low, and she didn't know where she was (the stroke from last year affected her memory and could not remember much of anything).
Around 2 pm, my sister called me at work letting me know that she had passed away. This is going to be a hard time in my family. She was 94, so she lived a long and full life. We know she is in a better place and the fact that she is not suffering any longer makes it a little easier for my family. I may not be around the boards much for the next few days, but any T&P would be wonderful.
