Wedding Woes

WWWWD?

I love, love, love both my OB and my regular Dr.   Reg. Doc is family practice and sees all four of us.

My regular Dr. usually did my annual exam.   My OB did mine today because I was overdue for one.

Now I'm thinking that I'll keep going to my OB for my annual exams.

DH and I have not decided whether or not we're having more kids.  I'm likely getting Mirena and we probably won't even discuss trying (or not) for DefConn2 until DefConn1 is at least 1, probably older.

So, WWWWD?  Keep both Dr's or just go back to regular Dr?  Do you have an OB and a regular Dr?

i have a reg dr and a dr hoo.  dr. hoo does my annual and gives me rx for junk drawer related things and other lady things (i saw them for the growth i have in my armpit/boob area); i see reg dr if i have the sniffles.  reg dr does not look under the hood.

I have an OB and a regular doc. In fact, I can't remember the last time my regular doc did my annual ladyparts check.

I have an OBGYN who looks at my junkdrawer and I have a family doctor.  The difference, for me, is the copay.  It's $30 for the flu, but $60 for broken vag.  Also, I would not want my family doctor looking at my vag because I like him on a friendly basis - like he and his wife have been to our house for parties and such.

I will be paying that $60 in a few weeks for my annual pap.  I promise to take a pee test for zsazsa.

I have an OBGYN and a regular DR.   For some reason, I don't want my reg Dr all up in my bizness.
Plus OB is a female and young, so I feel like she's up on all the latest and greatest stuff and has the bonus of knowing what we chicks go through.
Ex:  I asked her if the Paragaurd IUD is going to hurt, and she jokd "no more than having a baby did."    Now, if my regular dr said that, he would have been the recipient of a junk punch.  (your welcome, hmo.)

My family practice Dr is female, so I guess it never bothered me that she was all up in my junk drawer.

But I lub my OB, so I think I may keep her for annual stuff and other girlie parts issues.

no.  i call him "dr. hoo" (or sometimes "dr. who") because he looks at my hooha.  my gastroenterologist is referred to as "dr. poo."  dentist is "dr. teeth" and the dental hygenist is "floyd pepper."

I only have a regular doc. I got really lucky finding this one, and I can't imagine wanting to go through the whole process of trying to find a good one just for shts and grins.

I loved my OB and I'm super sad that he doesn't do GYN. my now former GYN was also an RE so I can't see her anymore as I don't need specialty. So my OB will put in my IUD when I get my period again but that'll be the last time I see him unless I get KU again.

I sort of have a Primary but not really. I haven't been sick enough in a gazillion years for a PCP. This doc just does my annual physical, though my new GYN (when I find one) might do that.

I have both too.  For copay purposes the OB is the only specialist billed at the GP price.  Oddly a PA is considered a specialist and has a higher copay than a GP.

I have both, too. Dr. Hott Sexxx will not be looking in my vaginahole.

i don't have a GP since I moved. I had both a GP and OB/GYN in Philly. My TX OB/GYN is awesome - i lub him.

I only had my yearly done once by a GP - never again. It was an awful experience.

Well, my family doctor is actually an internal medicine specialist, so I don't think that's on his list of "to-dos".

I don't know, I've always had an OBGYN or I went to Planned Parenthood that used the NPs.  I feel like my female bits are pretty specialized, so I want a specialist for them.
