Yes, I do need another pair of shoes

Hi there,

Yep, I need to find the right pair of shoes for my wedding dress.

I have looked at all the standard places...Beachwood, Great Northern, DSW...but haven't found what I am looking for...something fun and pretty but not necessarily the traditional white, satin shoe. I hesitate purchasing online because I'm a girl who needs to walk around in her shoes!

My bm dresses are going to be wine, I think, so was thinking of something to complement their dress although the color is tough to find and not sure about a satin shoe as there is nothing satin in the attire at all.

Suggestions?

    Hmm... I would have guessed DSW would have something. Also, their selection changes pretty often, so I'd check back. Other stores: TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Rack Room (IIRC Strongsville mall has one), Burlington Coat Factory (Middleburg Hts), Dillards, Macys, Kohl's, JC Penney, Sears, Payless, Famous Footwear...

    As for the bridesmaids, why not have them wear a metallic shoe -- silver? copper? or with wine, you could just go with black. People really won't be looking at their shoes anyway. Are the dresses tea-length?

    My sisters colors were Wine and Champagne. We wore wine dresses with Champagne colored shoes and it look really nice. Or they could get dyables to match the dress.

    As for your shoes, I'd suggest going to different DSWs. They often have many different styles at different stores? if you don't want white you could check out Alto and also the teen clothing stores in the mall. I know it sounds weird but I find a lot of my nice heels from those places.

    Check out target .com actually...they have a very large selection online, white colors, etc. and if you need to return them, you can take back to a store location.  As a BM this winter, we wore the Isabella from Mossimo in Red and they were super comfy and cant beat $22!!!

    Since I was inbetween sizes, I ordered 2 pairs to try on in person, and returned the other to my local store.  HTH!
