I've recently discovered the KPS Callout site (yes, it's possible I live under a rock, but I'm also only around in the evenings), and I'm completely disgusted by the behavior some of you grown women are displaying. How cowardly of you all to come out and attack each other anonymously and say such hurtful things to people. To say you think P2's husband is better off dead?! That's the most vile, disgusting, heinous thing I've ever read. Some of you out there are seriously disturbed. Whoever started this whole thing should be ashamed of herself. This can't possibly be something you're actually proud to have accomplished.

I'm sure some of you don't care, and plenty of you probably don't even recognize me. I'm sure this is not a new complaint about your precious new little slam book site, but as I've not been called out, take to heart that this is not a retaliation but a suggestion to all of you to look inside yourselves and really consider what the hell you are doing. Seriously, if you hate these people this much, get the hell out of here. Grow up, girls.

    P2s was horrible, I can't believe someone would post that. I don't read the callouts for that reason, I ahte seeing people get so torn apart. But I like squirrly's post on E about ending all conversation about it. If people would stop making posts about them, even in jest, and stop even sending in the nice ones, they'd stop giving it so much power.

    Ladies, reading and discussing the site fuels these awful people and keeps the hatred going.  Please ignore it and make it die.  The commentary has gone beyond hurtful, especially with today's horrific post about P2.  Make it stop.

    Well the only reason it will continue to exist is if knotties continue to look at it and send in stuff.

    I think it was tide who said - you hate to look, but it's kinda like watching trashy tv (something to the effect).  You just can't look away.

    Talking about it in here doesn't help much either.  I'm sure whoever started the callout site just LOVES it when people post "Omg, how could you say that about so-and-so you HOAR!"

    Just ignore it.

    See I like the nice ones.  I also don't think not talking about it will make it stop.  There is clearly a group of women very invested in this site with all of the hateful crap and I think they'll continue posting to vent.  I don't really like not being able to talk about it because look at the thread P2 started.  She was clearly hurt (rightfully so!) and she got the support she needed from a variety of people.

    I understand that if we ignore it an let it die, it loses power. I just couldn't not say something. I've never gotten involved in any drama on these boards, or taken sides on any of these vritual playground issues. I like to think I'm pretty even keeled, but THIS pissed me off.

    Oh I agree.  But I don't think calling them cowards is going to really get them to say it "for real" and at least being able to discuss it makes some of the sting go away.

    btw - I didn't mean my comment to sound like, "why are you bringing this crap over here?" Sorry if it came off that way. I just meant that I am glad that we don't fuel it on a daily (hourly?) basis in general save for the Apro thing or talking about the love festy side of it. To be honest, I am glad you brought this up because with the threads I am skimming over on E today I can see the issue has come to a head. The crap about p2's husband was vile. I am also already relieved to see how many posters jumped in this thread to condemn the call out site.

    Brooke, I totally agree with everything you've said. However, it makes me worry that you felt you had to come to SB to post it to communicate it. I really, really hope that the creator of that site does not reside on this board, and that people don't actually think that. I know everyone has their conspiracy theories, but honestly, I feel like I "know" most of the regs on this board and on E enough to believe none of us facilitated this toxic thing.

    That's the impression I got from the "tone" of the OP.  It does sound a bit accusatory.  I suppose it could be someone from here, or E, or any lurker that has nothing better to do.

    cew, I'm sorry it came off as accusatory. Perhaps I'm misinformed, but I was under the impression that TKPS post secrets were started for E and SB, so I assumed that KPS call outs were a kind of "follow up" for the same boards. I honestly don't doubt that whoever facilitates this thing at least lurks here and/or E. That is all. I'm not a "member" of any other boards, so I posted it here. I mean absolutely no offense in my choice of board.

    I didnt go to look at that site until last night after Whit made a post about something rude said about her wedding, which is ridiculous. And I skimmed some that actually was starting to turn the tone of the sight to nicer call outs.

    But after reading the P2 one just now I guess I was wrong. I agree it is totally disgusting and uncalled for,but I'm starting to wonder if it's just one person writing the nasty ones just to stir crap up again.

    I hope it's just a lurker, cause that was just cruel beyond belief.

    I don't really know under what premise TKPS callouts was started but honestly - positive or not, the site is really not worth mentioning at all.  Whoever started it and whoever contributes to it needs either a better hobby or more tasks to do during their workday.

    Everyone else has said what I am thinking.  It is pretty disgusting that someone out there is so terrible that they could post those things.  I also think anyone that horrible won't care whether or not we talk about it because obviously it makes them feel better about themselves.  I am not saying we should bring it up every day or hour but unfortunately I don't think it will change this vile behavior.
