Bridal party

My fiancé has many more close friends than I do. I only want two bridesmaids, but he wants four groomsmen. Will it look weird and lopsided if we keep the numbers like that? Does it really matter?

    No it will not look weird and it won't really matter. Just have the people that you truly want standing up there with you as you get married. My side includes my sister, brother, BFF, and best guy friend from college.

    Uneven sides are fine, unless they are really uneven (I went to a wedding with 13 bridesmaids and three groomsmen-it was just weird). 2 and 4 doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

    H had 5 guys and I had 2 girls.  Here is a pic to show you just how un-weird it is. (Oh, and the guy all the way to the left, he is not only a close friend of ours but was also our officiant which is why we had him in our pic)...

    I think that 2 BMs and 4 Groomsmen are fine. Some examples of things you could do with 4 guys and 2 girls...

    For Processional if you have BMs and GMs walking together, have the first 2 escort mother of the bride and mother of the groom to their seats and have the second 2 escort the BMs

    For head table if you're having one and not just a sweethearts table, have Bride and Groom in the Center with One BM and 2 GM on each side. Or opt for just the Sweethearts table.

    For full Bridal Party Shots if you want even sides of the pictures so you're dead center, just do the same as the head table. You could even get some cute shots of your girls looking "cocky" over having 2 guys each.

    Just some food for thought... Hope it helps!
