I want to know what the temperature is where everyone is located.  It's flippin cold here in NE Montana!

    41. But the high tomorrow is 36. Not looking forward to it. Also, I live in South Louisiana and am a complete wimp when it comes to cold weather.

    It's an unseasonably warm 38 here.

    And a funny weather-related story: I refused to throw a lot of winter details into my wedding. Why? Because, as I kept telling people, I'm getting married in Tennessee, and it would probably be 50 degrees and rainy that day. Who wants hot cocoa and snowflake decor when it's 50 degrees and storming?

    Our 10-day forecast for the wedding just became available. Sho' nuff: 50 degrees and rainy.

    In south central Iowa, it is 10, and our current windchill is -10.

    That'll become a negative temp soon enough with a windchill between -20 and -40 later on today/tonight.

    32ish here in Austin, but it will be in the low 20s tonight and for the next few days. This is about as cold as it gets and is pretty normal for January.

    well, a good chuck of Austin has travelled to the Rose Bowl for tonight's game.. I think they were too wimpy to stay here.

    I totally agree!  I get annoyed with the "have to's" of seasons.  So what if your colors are "fall" and you are getting married in spring.  Sometimes I think that stuff seems too juvenile!

    Lol- I don't hate you :)  I actually chose to move to this arctic tundra where it was 32 below with a -50 windchill on my way to work- from California!

    In Florida, and 55.  And we're in the middle of a record breaking cold snap and everyone is losing it because they feel they don't have clothes enough to keep them warm.  Reading this post puts it in perspective :)

    to me- once it is negative anything, it's fEckking cold, so it really doesn't matter what the number is, because I have to wear 5 shirts and mittens anyway.

    Haha, well, the parts of Montana I've been to (in the summer) are really beautiful. Basically southwest, though.

    As a native of Upstate NY, I admit that warm weather year round can get really boring. I'd like to change my wardrobe sometimes, please and thank you. I'm not advocating for it to be -9, but highs in the 40s would be a nice alternative.

    It's weird when its warmer in Maine than it is Georgia. I use to visit georiga a lot and I swear every-single-time I went, it was warmer in Main than in GA
