Hey guys! How much did you or are you paying for your dj services. Also, what does it include. I'm trying to book photography and DJ before I go back to school.

    $1500 includes DJ for 5 hours. Dance floor lighting, gobo for the dance floor.

    We got one DJ for four hours (not including setup and breakdown), and he played music and made minimal announcements and he along with the Maitre d' kept things flowing very smoothly (special dances, cake cutting, etc.). We weren't interested in two DJs, lights, giveaways/contests, or anything like that.

    We paid a little over $900, I think, plus taxes and a tip, so I'll say $1100 overall to be on the safe side.

    $1100... includes :
    - 5 hours (cocktail hour and reception)
    - up to 1 hour ceremony music
    - 2 person team - bilingual DJ/MC and reception coordinator/bridal assistant
    - basic lighting units that go with the music
    - smoke machine (we probably aren't going to use this and plan on asking for something else instead)

    It really can vary depending on who you go with and what you want.  For instance, we paid over $5k to include lighting, largest plasma, extra sound thing that made the sound carry throughout the room (i had a very large room), photo montage, etc.

    $1400 since we're doing the personalized gobo's in addition to the above. Peaches and I are both using Colorblind Productions.

    I'm paying $1,500 for Unforgettable DJs, they include 2 DJs, Lighting, 5 hours of music including cocktail.  They are AWESOME to work with!

    I am paying 3,500 for violinist during 1 hour cocktail, 5 hour reception, DJ, MC, uplighting, percussionist, and GOBO.

    1 master of reception
    1 D.j
    uplighting
    2 plasama screen t.v's
    20 picture montage
    gobo
    music for coctail hr and reception
    party favors and black light with glove ( prob will not be using)
    state of the party light system
    recap of events on the t.v's and music videos

    I emailed color blind productions 2 weeks ago, and have yet to hear anything from them. :(

    Try calling.  This was posted on their facebook page 2 weeks ago:

    Just a quick note to let you all know that our systems are down! No internet access adds to the overall frustration with all things computer related. This past month has been nothing but computer/web/email related fiascoes.

    I had a problem with that as well. I emailed and spoke to someone and they said they would call me back. I left 2 follow up messages and it is now 2 months later and i have still never heard back from them. I booked someone else.

    We wanted something very simple and low key. We are paying $650 for the ceremony music, cocktail hour music and reception. Its just 1 DJ who will have minimal involvement, just announcements. We are using Sounds of Music DJs.

    We are paying around 3500 I believe for
    ceremony music
    cocktail hour
    4 hour reception
    2 vocalists  (they sing up to 25 songs throughout the night)
    dj
    dj assistant

    Same thing happened to me back in March.  I went with a company that was easier to get in contact with.

    2200 for dj and mc for 6 hours, includes our ceremony.  Also inlcudes up lighting and other lighting package
