How to spot an oldie (just for fun in response to how to spot a newb)

<Erm... they ask the same question as a gazillionty other newbs...>

Oldies don't get the fact there are many new members everyday that have the same questions or concerns as past posts.

<They get affronted at the general bluntness of the board... />

Oldies respond with unkind words and comments then get all defensive about their rude behavior.

<They don't have a signature because they don't know how to make one. />

Oldies think newbies don't have a sig because they don't know how when the reality is Newbies don't really give a rat's ass about having a sig.

<They think that checking someone's bio for wedding information is creepy. />

Oldies check someone's bio and then use the info. to make fun of them on the boards.

<They dont come back to the post, or if they do its days after it has died. />

Oldies assume newbies have the time to sit around the computer posting on TK all day like they do.

<When they ask for validation, and when they don't get it scream, "But we're BRIDES! />

Oldies use the word validation every chance they get for any and every reason a newbie disagrees or criticizes the oldies response.

<They think it's crazy that anyone has time to have get a silver or gold badge. />

Oldies can't see outside their bubble of TK enough to realize most non-serial posters don't have the time to get a silver or gold badge.

Oldies post links to past posts to embarrass posters. Constantly bringing up anything (over and over and over) they see as an etiquette breach, tacky or something that just rubs them the wrong way.

Oldies swarm and attack (in groups) the newbies posts. Stinging over and over repeatedly until the newbie is forced to bring out the Raid.

Entertainment from the oldies and good ideas from the nice oldies and newbies.

Why is anyone taking offense to this? It's just a playoff from the "how to spot a newb" thread...I didn't see any newbies freak over that one.

That thread was a collection of quotes from numerous posters---including new posters.

No one gives a damn about what just YOU have to say about the regular posters.
