How to word this?

I posted this over in the "Pre-Wedding Parties" forum, but wanted to get a Wisconsin take. Sorry if you see double...

About 90% of our wedding guests are out-of-towners. Since many of our guests aren't familiar with the area, we wanted to provide the OOT people some place to hang out together. We've reserved a floor at a bar near the hotel so that family/friends can go out to a bar, but avoid the crowd of strangers. However, we are only providing the space--we're not paying for drinks.

For now, we're putting the info on our wedding website. How would you word this so people understand that it isn't a hosted gathering, but rather an alternative to hanging out in someone's hotel room?

ETA: We reserved the room for the night before the wedding in case people arrive the day before.

Since you posted this on the "pre-wedding parties" I am assuming that this would be for the day before the wedding??

Welcome to city!   We are thrilled you could attend our wedding ceremony and reception tomorrow!

Tonight, after you finish getting settled into your room, we hope that you are able to find time to explore and enjoy city, the place we call home.  With this in mind, we have reserved the seating on the second floor of local bar for all of the wedding guests to gather, as this is one of our favorite places to visit!

This, or something similar, should imply that they can stop there but if they do, it's on their own dime.  I would also pass it around word of mouth.

Oops...yes, this is for the night before the wedding. Thanks for the catch!

    And, great wording!
