Hi ladies! I just wanted to do an intro post since I'm now lurking around over here...that way if I decide to reply, it won't be too out of the blue!

I was an August bride up until last week. I still hang out over there, but you guys are more on my timeline! We moved our wedding up to July 14th due to two pregnant bridesmaids who were both due within days of our August wedding (and one is also our cake maker!) They're still going to be super pregnant in July, but hopefully moving it will be slightly easier on them! We couldn't bump it to June as our venue was (not surprisingly) booked.

I lost a month of planning, which didn't seem like that much until I really stopped to think of all I have to do! Luckily my dress is already on order, and my BMs have until the end of the month. I just need to get my butt in gear!

So anyway, HI July knotties!!

Hi! I think I read about your pregnant bridesmaids over on the maids board! You're awesome for moving up the wedding date for them.

My MOH just found out she is pregnant and she'll be about 8 to 8.5 months pregnant on our wedding day. There is no way that we can move up the wedding date- when we searched for our venue back in June, almost everything was already booked! We're just hoping and praying that everything will be okay. We probably need to change her dress!

Have your BMs picked out a dress yet? What are you going to do for the 2 pregnant BMs?

Tell us more about yourself and your FI! I see that you've been together for 13 years?!

As for the BM dresses-they will all be wearing the ones in my siggy. My cousin (pregnant) just ordered hers and they put her in 3 sizes up since it is easier to alter down than up! She also got it a little longer so it's not too short in the front.

I have 4 BMs total-my sister is my MOH, then I have my cousin, and two of my BFFs.

Our main two colors are fuchsia and mango orange. I'm also doing an apple green and lemon yellow as accents. Each BM will be wearing a different color.

lol Yes, FI and I have known each other for 13 years, but we haven't actually been together all those years. Long story, but we actually met online a long time ago...in 1999 when I was 14 and he was 15 lol It was a completely random thing on AIM. Of course we didn't meet in person until much later, since I lived in Indiana and he was in Massachusetts, but we did talk on the phone and sent letters to each other, etc. It's kind of crazy, really. We did both date other people in that time period, but ended up together, and couldn't be happier!

I do have my dress on order...it's a Demetrios (clickable) #1406. I LOVE it and can't wait until it comes in! We are actually getting married in Indiana, since that's where all my family is, so I ordered the dress there as well. I'm scheduled to go back in February, and really hoping it comes in by then! I'm dying to try on MY dress!!!!

Moving the wedding went really smoothly, actually. The only thing we really had under contract, besides the wedding planner, was the venue. We just went with the earliest date we could get in July (June was completely booked) and it was no problem to move it. My photographer is my uncle (pregnant cousin's dad) and my cake maker is the other pregnant BM, so those were easy to move. The wedding planner was free that day as well, obviously. Everything else still needs to be done though! While I am there in Feb, I will be meeting with a couple of florists, as well as booking the caterer.
