Ha, fact.
She puked all over my ILs' house this morning. She is not sick. There was nothing we could find that she could have gotten into. She came home and ate fine. I mean, she was stressed out, and hadn't been getting her medicine (aldkflakdfl;kzdf;ldkflkddfgjk!), but yeah. She pretty much just puked all over their house to say fuuucck you to them, I'm pretty sure.
If you were going to have someone come to your house twice a day to medicate your cat for a week (no litter cleaning or feeding duties or anything like that, this is a 5 minute--hopefully--visit to medicate only), and keeping in mind that this is a very difficult cat to medicate....how much would you pay them?

She is SO spiteful. That's an excellent word for it. He hasn't done it in a few days. Sometimes when I'm annoying him (usually purposely) he will do it for a couple minutes. Usually just until I stop annoying him. Ha!
They'd hopefully not be there for any longer than 5 minutes. We have someone else staying there to feed and entertain her. So they'd come in, get the medicine ready, medicate her, give her treats and maybe spend a few minutes petting her so she doesn't associate them solely with medicating her.
I think $25 a day is plenty for that. It might even be kinda high, but I don't know if I'd do it for less, unless it was a friend's cat. Is this a friend or just a random pet sitter?
Would it be weird to just leave her whatever, and then give her a "tip" if we find out she (the cat, not the sitter, ha) was especially difficult?
Because I want to give more just because I know she's a total PITA (the IL's won't even try to medicate her)...but I also know that this person might not have any issues at all, and it would suck to overpay her a lot in anticipation of something that didn't actually happen, KWIM?

The person staying there is FIL, and he refuses to medicate her. He and MIL tried once, and she was a PITA about it (she's a fuuuucking cat) and they freaked out and said that they "just couldn't do that to the poor cat."
Fuuucking seriously? She's a cat. She doesn't want her medicine. It tastes bad. If your child didn't want their medicine, would you be like "oh, ok, well you don't have to have it becaues I feel bad that you don't want it,"? NO. You'd make the damn kid take their damn medicine.
Just read your last post. Yeah, I think that's probably fine. If she's already doing it and you didn't agree to an amount, then pretty much anything you give her will probably be appreciated.
ETA - I'm slow as all get out right now. This was actually to the post before your last one, haha. I'd be annoyed too, the cat needs her medicine, they should just give her the damn medicine.

Yeah, I think I'm also going to have to go to bed. I've volunteered myself to be a driver for a kids' day-camp at much church because it's my nephew's first year to attend.
It's going to be a long week of waking up early when I've gotten accustomed to sleeping until 10am this summer.
At least tomorrow's activity is in the air-conditioning.

ETA - How much time a day will they be spending at your house?
ETA again - NVM, reading fail. For 10 minutes total, I think $25 would be pretty generous.
