dbag is an understatement. Her reasons were - he may or may not have knocked up his exgf - AND - he claimed he wanted to get out of the lime light but made a video in LA recently.

Of course Bristol can say she doesn't want to be in the lime light - her mom has made millions recently.......but Levi has to depend on his good looks (I kid, I kid) to support himself.

Levi is just a gold digger, who like Stack said, relies on his looks to support himself. That girl needs a major reality check. She is better off without him.

poor girl. I cant stand her mom but I do feel bad for the daughter- she was young, stupid and in love and she just looks silly to so many people now.

I've felt sorry for Bristol since watching the GOP National Convention in 2008. Two questions popped into my head immediately. 1. Had Levi seen that engagement ring before the campaign was talking about it and 2. Why didn't Palin do a better job of protecting her daughter. Quietly telling the press and saying they would not comment on it any further would have gone a lot further than saying nothing, letting the press find out on its own (this never makes them nicer about anything) and making Bristol a very uncomfortable center of attention that whole week and for weeks that followed.

I'm in the feeling-bad-for-Bristol camp. She's just a kid. Unfortunately, a kid with a baby, and I'm sure she wanted more than anything to have a family with Levi.

Wait. I'm sorry, but most women have been stupid about a man at some point in their lives. How does this make her look silly? Because her Mom is in a position that makes it fair game for the media?

I don't think she looks silly. I think she looks like a confused young woman who's mother's job has thrust her into a spotlight she isn't prepared for.

I honestly don't know why someone would drag their family into the national spotlight with that kind of stuff going on. Five kids, one who was a pregnant teen, one with special needs. Yeah, sounds like a great time to run a national political campaign. I mean, I know WHY she didn't, but I wouldn't have.

I do like Bristol, though. She'll do fine for herself. She'll probably do a lot better without Levi-the-albatross tied around her neck.

Me too. Part of me wants to tell myself that maybe she really is this young naive girl that thinks relationships are puppies and rainbows and ran off telling everyone they were engaged again.

The other part of me sees how much they potentially could have been paid for those magazine covers the last few weeks after the "announcement." She has to put food in her baby's mouth somehow...
