Hotel Accommodation/Group Rates, Alexandria

Does anyone have recommendations for group rates / hotel accommodations for out of town guests?  We were thinking of Old Town since it's historic and close to DC and the metro.  Our wedding is in Alexandria, near Springfield.

    We booked the Residence Inn on Duke St. in Old Town. I think our rate was like $89? I can't remember exactly, but somewhere in that neighborhood.

    We booked the Residence Inn too...all the guests reported a smooth/friendly expierence and everyone recieved their OOT box which they didnt charge to hand out.
