This weekend was insanely busy on the wedding end for us.  We finalized the invitation wording with my parents, so we are ordering giving the printing company the go ahead tomorrow, only had to make one small change (they forgot the declines with regrets line haha ).  Can't wait to get them in.

Put the deposit down on the flowers.  Crazy jazzed they were able to work with our budget.  

Spent Saturday tasting cake, and have narrowed it down to 2 bakers.  Sending out the deposit for one of them tomorrow, just waiting for the quote from one.  My top pick had an awesome personality, so we are 99% sure we are going with her.

I may be wrong but I think all we have left is to put the deposit down on the honeymoon woo hoo.

    This weekend my parents confirmed that they're paying for the entire reception, so I'm very excited. They also indicated that my grandma may be paying for the rest of the wedding, but we're moving forward with paying the remainder on our own instead of expecting it to be paid for.

    We focused more on securing our house this weekend. All of the parents came over and we installed flood lights that you can see from space and bought the supplies for a fence. We also went and bought a fireproof safe to put behind a keypad-deadbolted interior door. We're buying our alarm system after paydays on Friday and Sunday, THEN we'll be getting back to wedding-related things. I still need to get addresses again from all of the people we remember inviting.

    Pretty much all we need to do is purchase invitations, order rings and schedule my makeup artist (who my hairdresser is choosing -- I just need to text her for more info). One of our wedding party confirmed that she found her dress at Goodwill this weekend, so our ladies are in the process of dress finding!

    Oh and I almost forgot, we got FI's attire all finalized.  He got measured for his tux, since we are actually buying him a custom made one since it's a good investment.  He made the final pick on the guys vests and ties too, he wanted a slightly different vest, so all set there too double woo hoo.

    We got FI measured for his tux as well as one of the groomsmen. We are renting from Men's Warehouse so we now have know what to tell the out of state groomsman about renting his tux. I *still* have to find a florist. I am just dragging my feet with that one.

    Xandy, we met with two florist after we chatted with them for a little while and saw what they thought, I gave them our budget (which I told them significantly less than we can afford) and they were both able to somewhat work with it.  So long as you tell them what you are willing to spend it seemed to work great for us.  Our florist was honest and said we could do the pews within our budget, but he would order the flowers and let us do those ourselves if we want, or we can think of another option.  So everything is definitely doable.

    Libby, you got a lot done, I bet that feels like such a relief.

    We didn't do anything. We tried to register for tuxes since the guys will all get $40 off their rental. Well the bridal shop closed early without any indication anywhere. Luckily, I just called to inform them and they still let me get it!

    This weekend I will be working on my scrapbook for the wedding. I have about 20 pages done with plenty more to go.

    I did nothing this weekend wedding related, because it was my birthday allllllll weekend long!  Haha.  You got a lot done!  Maybe one day I will decide to keep planning this shindig.

    I'm pretty relieved that we were able to get so much done.  We are sending out the cake deposit tomorrow most likely.  Not sure what we have left aside from the honeymoon, thankgoodness we have the whole check thing and I can start jumping ahead a few steps.

    Rochelle, we have plenty of time, and you already have a ton done.  As of right now we don't plan on making a trip to my hometown where the wedding is again until July for the shower, so had to get everything done this past weekend.
