Just for fun - Intro Songs

What are some of the best songs you've heard for the wedding party/B&G entrance?

I think one of my favorites was "Memories" by Kid Cudi (edited version of course). It had the guests dancing as well as the BP!

Re: Just for fun - Intro Songs

  • We entered to "Play That Funky Music White Boy" at my sister's wedding. I want to enter to "Go Pack Go" at mine.
You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back. - Barbara DeAngelis
  • I am a HUGE Oakland A's fan...for those that dont know..the A's like to "do the bernie" I think it would be hilarious, but FI is a Giants fan....so I'm sure he's going to fight that one!  I don't know what we are doing for this yet.

June 1, 2013 - finally making it official!

  • We entered to Ain't that a Kick in the Head by Dean Martin which was fun.  Sadly I don't remember any of the entrance songs from weddings I've been to or in.

  • we entered to "Like a Virgin".  The guests loved it.
  • I feel better all over by Johnny Cash
  • My brother, who is nowhere near getting married, is dying to enter to the Chicago Bulls theme, with those "sky guys" blowing around by the door.

I've never really witnessed an awesome entrance, but I've always wanted to.
  • My friends did "another one bites the dust" as their exit song down the aisle.
  • We are doing "welcome to the jungle" my FI is a huge cincy bengals fan
  • My FI is set on all of us entering in and doing the harlem shake. He seriously has it all planned already. The biggest part of me wants to say "absolutely not" but, he hasnt asked for much during this wedding process & I feel like maybe I should give him this one thing.

  • My FI is dead set on using "99 Problems" by Jay-Z...I actually think it will be hilarious. Luckily our family members aren't easily offended.

  • We didn't have a grand entrance, but my sister went with the Muppets for her wedding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=07diV2yIqsA

  • We are go just going with  basketball team entrance. We have a prerecorded thing with the music the bulls used in the mid-90s. Wedding party heights and where they are from. So, a 6'6" groomsmen. from Harlem...a 5'9" bridesmaid from Boston...

    I cant wait!

The song "Shorty I can take you there" by Sean Kingston was really popular when we started dating, and we've always joked that that's "our song." We definitely want to play it at some point during the night, but I think it would be funny to use that as our intro song.
  • Our intro was to "Say Hey, I love you" by Michael Franti.
  • We are entering the reception to "debaser" by the pixies and we are really excited about it. One wedding the wedding party entered to the Star Wars song which I thought was hilarious and awesome.

  • I wanted to do Mahna Mahna but was vetoed.

I'm trying to get him to love a Muppets song that he is unaware of being Muppets.

Also, I like the song on the Sam Adams commercial...

You'll never be subject to a cash bar, gap, potluck wedding, or b-list if you marry a Muppet Overlord.

  • I surprised my WP with The Rembrants' "I'll Be There For You" (aka Friends theme song) for the entrance. That was always "our show" so it was fun.

Some co-worker friends of mine entered to Rihanna's "We Found Love (In a Hopeless Place)" which was pretty funny considering they met in our office. :)
  • My FI and I met playing trombone, so we will be having a trombone choir for some of the ceremony music.  When we enter the reception, they'll be playing 76 trombones!  I can't wait!
