    Thank you!
I forgot gum and safety pins.
  • Women:
    Small lotion
Mints (I would do mints over gum)
    Safety pins
    Tampons
Facial tissues (our venue does not have these in the bathroom)
    Wetnaps (individual packets)
    Shout (individual packets)
    Bandaids
Tums or Pepto Tablets* if out of reach of children
Advil* if out of reach of children

    Men:
    Small lotion
    Mints
    Safety pins
    Facial tissues
    Wetnaps
    Shout
    Bandaids
Tums or Pepto tablets* if out of reach of children
Advil* if out of reach of children

</div><div>I planned on doing these, but later changed my mind.  I figured most people would be able to get through a 5 hour event.  I always have appropriate stuff in my purse to handle things that may come up.  If something really bad came up that I couldn't fix, I'd just leave.

  •  Thanks for your advice Sleeper and Joan. I will keep it in mind...
  • I recently went to a baby shower for my friend, in the bathroom basket they included a small box of regular tampons (maybe a dozen) and a small box of liner pads (maybe 20?) and some lotion.  There were about 50 guests.  The venue did not have a tampon/pad dispenser in the bathroom.  I would consider the group of people you are inviting to the wedding and go from there, if there are children/teens, mothers with children, or even possibly elderly women, I would consider a lightly stocked basket, to serve their oops! needs.  At my friend's shower the basket was hardly touched but the products were all cheap and ones she would have a use for (well in a few months).
  • I did bathroom baskets. Only a couple of items were used, but I bought the brands of items I normally use, so I took the leftover items home at the end of the night and nothing went to waste.

    great ideas!
  • its common for venues to have them here.
sugar free gum, fashion tape, qtips, hair spray, tide pens, tampons, pads, bobby pins etc.. and they're so common here that no one just takes stuff. i mean even in nice restaurants they6 have the lady with the basket handing out towels for people to dry their hands.

  •  Thank you Everyone!!!!
I know know exactly what I want to do...
