Just wondering how many stems were in your bouquets and what you thought about the size? I am still deciding between roses and cala lillies (or a combo), and I am also still deciding between a cascading bouquet or just carrying long stemmed flowers in my arms. I am not sure how many dozen flowers is typical, if there is even a typical. And also I am concerned about how heavy it will be! In addition I am pretty small, only about 115 pounds and 5'2 so I do not want to look disproportionate. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Re: How many stems in your bouquet?
If you want to get a feel for the size of the bouquet, I would talk with your florist. They may be able to roughly put together something for you to hold and see about the size.
Here is my bouquet. I had many different types of flowers and it was quite large (and heavy).
It was the perfect size for me, big enough to be noticeable in pictures, but small enough to be easy to hang on to.
This it the bouquet I'm ordering for myself. $135 bucks. I think its 24 roses and 20 calla lily. My florist asked for my height and weight to make sure the bouquet won't be too big.

I am about your size and my florist told me a cascade wouldn't be wise due to my short stature...
