Hello everybody!
I am from Spain and I am marrying my Knoxvillian boyfriend this June, in Knoxville!
We have a very small budget and we also have to hold a celebration in Spain later, so we're looking for a place that won't charge us several thousand dollars just to rent it. I have been looking a lot, but I am tired of seeing all this 'official' wedding venues, gorgeous as they may be, quoting me prices sometimes well over 2,000. I am sure they started by charging normal prices and then as they got popular they started rising and rising...
The ideal for me would be renting a big house for a couple of days (where some of my family traveling from Spain could stay) with a big garden or deck, or a pavilion, where we could celebrate. We will only be around 70. Do any of you know anybody that rents such a house? or a website?
I am also open to venues, but they have to be low key and budget-friendly... we would like to do an outdoors wedding and reception could be in or outdoors, preferably a mix of both

We don't want it to be more than 40 minutes away from Knoxville, because we want our Knoxville guests to be able to drive back home after the reception (so Sevierville and Gatlinburg might be too far)
And also, since this can be a problem here, it needs to be a place where we can serve alcohol and stay until late, at least until 11pm.
If anybody has any ideas please let me know!
