AW: Wedding stuffs (PIP)

I'm bored so I figured I'd AW some WR stuff :)

A couple weekends ago I spent all day making these for on the tables, bars, wherever:

Our cake topper arrived recently:

I had my hair and makeup trials recently. I don't love my hair. I'm did that day, but not so much when I see pics now. I am getting my hair cut and colored on Saturday so I'm going to talk to her about it that day.

And I had a dress fitting on Saturday. They have to take my dress in a bit more so I'll have one more fitting next Thursday and then I get to pick it up for good a week later :)

  • I love your dress! You look amazing in it :)

What is it that you don't like about your hair?

  • Your dress is so gorgeous. I actually really like your hair, what are you thinking about changing?

  • You so perty!

  • Beth and Hummingbird: I'm not really sure how to explain it... I feel like from the side, it looks like I'm wearing a helmet.

  • LOVE everything! I wish I could crash your wedding :)
  • Your dress is so gorgeous! I hope that you and your stylist can get your hair sorted out easily.
  • I love eveything!  I really do like the hair but I hope you find something you do really love. Can't wait to crash this wedding.

  • RDR - what about asking her to make it poof up a little higher on top?

  • I would tackle hug you but I think I would mess up your hair. So I'll settle for an air hug and tell you that everything looks spectacular!

<div>I wanted it to be a little lower and a little more to the side, so I'm definitely going to have her do that. </div><div>
</div><div>I think my issue is that there's no definition in the back. It just looks like a big poof to me. So rather than a big poofy helmet, I want like a curly-ish sorta low side bun? Gahhh so confusing!</div>

  • Love, love, love the dress.  You are going to be so pretty on your wedding day!

  • rdr, WHERE did you get your cake topper?  Because um...my bestie wants one like that and can't find a good one, haha.  wanna sell it after your wedding?  cause I mean, she's not getting married till October...?!

I love love love the cork candle holder thingies :)

You're getting so close!  I KNOW because my FI told me I was getting old soon yesterday, which means you're getting MARRIED soon.  I was sure to remind him it wasn't like TOMORROW or anything
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton

  • I love when you guys share!  Today is exactly 4 months out and I'm tired of planning.  I still love the candle holders and well of course the dress.  Are you going for a more formal look for your hair or casual?  I think I know what you are getting at with the lower and more to the side.

Question. I've been debating about undergarments. did you have cups sewn in or are you wearing a bra? I have DD, so i'm guessing what works for you will work for me! (I don't really want to wear a bra...but I also prefer not to fall out of my dress! KWIM?)

<div>I got a long-line bra. I wanted to feel tucked in in my tummy area as well as keep the girls in check. I also feel MORE comfortable in this than a normal strapless because the boning helps hold it up whereas strapless bras are just painful for me. </div><div>
</div><div>When I tried it with my dress, it showed a little at the top and also in the back. My seamstress sewed it into my dress to keep it from showing in the front and I have to undo the top 2 clasps in the back to keep it from showing through the corset back thing (which ends up being good for my back fat lol). </div>

Thanks! I've been debating about the long-line bras. I just think it will provide a little more "lift" than a traditional strapless...which I've never really been able to pull off. Thanks for the tip! I may go looking this weekend for a good deal.

<div>Yea I wanted the lift. I always feel super saggy in a regular strapless and plus the next day I feel like I'm bruised from it which is never fun. </div>
