New to Omaha. Need cheap ceremony place!

I am in desperate need of a cheap ceremony site. Church, outside, inside, museum, whatever.. PLEASE HELP wedding is in October!

Re: New to Omaha. Need cheap ceremony place!

  • I'm in the same boat- but the wedding's not quite so soon. Any good recommendations for an affordable, non-religious indoor wedding ceremony site?
  • Most places do not have just a ceremony site. Your best bet would be to do a park. We used Hanscom Park in Omaha and it turned out great. It was just finding a flat spot to put the chairs.

<div>Did you have to get permission from the state to have your ceremony in the park?  We plan on doing ours at the Gerald Ford site but Hanscom park is right there too.  </div>
  • The Old Presbyterian Church in Bellevue rents for about $200 and seats up to 150. Very pretty and historical kinda like the old country churches. Also Big Grove Village is absolutely adorable and affordable.
  • The amphitheater at Platte River State Park is $30 for the entire day.

A new place opened up in Omaha that has indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception areas.  Because they are new, they have open dates.   Ceremony only rates are $200 and up, depending on the number of your guests, and the time that you want.   You can include a dressing room for bride and groom for another $50.    They allow outside catereing, if you want to have your reception there too!!!  Check out Starlight Chateau. com

  • You need to actually follow the TOS you agreed to when you signed up.....no vendor rate posts.
  • Thank you! We booked at Hanscom Park!
