So one of my coworkers texted me today to tell me that our director had a seizure at work this morning and she was taken to the hospital. I'm obviously not at work so the only way for me to have found out would have been through a coworker.
Since I've broken my ankle and have been home, director and I have communicated, some fun emails (like her giving me book recommendations while I've been home because she knows I'm such a bookworm), others related to work and you were able to feel the tension just by reading them. (some background, there was alot of concern on my part about my security of my job and so forth.)
Regardless of my personal feelings towards her right now, I do care and I want to make sure shes ok. Would you text her and even email her saying something like "I heard what happened, I hope your ok. If you need anything let me know."
I don't want to make her feel awkward or weird since I know what happened even though I'm not at work.
