Planning is wrapping up and were getting closer to our goal of all plans done by may 14th (my oldest sons birthday). This will allow us the last 3 weeks of school to enjoy the boys end of year activities (we have 3 sons from my first marriage, all elem school aged).
Last weekend we did final tour of venue. Took the kids with us. My 8 yr old (middle son) pulled FI aside and says "is this really the place where you FOR REALLY get to become my extra dad LIKE FOR REALS???" He was so excited. FI said it left him speechless bc he couldn't even find the words to respond. We let the boys help decide whee to have the ceremony, put the cake, which area for the DJ (there are 2 out door dance floors). They loved getting to help us make these decisions.
All the RSVPs are back, woohoo!!!
And today we did our cake tasting, final decisions there and decided on the sweets table. Oh and we got our marriage license. That made it so real.... First time I had seen my new name all typed out together.
All that's left is the table assignments, labeling the place cards, finalize the music with the DJ, final dress fitting (and pick up), bridal shower (may 4th) and start packing for the HM.
Anyone else getting super excited???? 52 days and counting.....
Since I took the day off for wedding stuff I also made an appt with my foot doctor. Took an X-ray of my ankle, said its looking good. I can remove the walking boot and go into a brace this weekend but I've been advised on my busy days at work until June 1st I need to still wa the boot for safety. :-( oh well though such is life. My work has been insanely understanding, so have most of my patients.
