Groton reception ideas

Hello I'm new to the are and looking for a venue for a wedding reception.I live in groton so would like somewhere within 30 miles.We have around 150 and are looking for next summer.Any ideas would help thank you!

    I booked at the Branford House Mansion right in Groton, everything is DIY but if you do it right you can get alot of bang for your buck! oh and the view is AMAZING! Best of luck!!

    We looked at Latitude 41 in Mystic. It had great views of the river and you get to use the entire seaport for your photos. They can definitely accomodate 150 guests.

    depending on your budget and the feel you are going for, here's a few options off the top of my head in the groton area:

    - brandford house
    - eolia at harkness park
    - mystic seaport
    - stonington meadows (where i'm getting married :-) )
    - the vineyards (salt water farm, jonathan edwards, stonington vineyard)
    - mystic aquarium
    - mystic art center
    - mystic yacht club
    - lake of isles (foxwoods)
    - mystic marriott
    - the inn at mystic
    - groton inn and suites
    - norwich inn and spa
