Alright guys so I need some names and advice for who to get. I was planning on going to the wedding expo in a few weeks to get some ideas but now that doesn't look like it's going to happen. So I'm asking you all for who you had and loved. Can't wait to look into some of these. Thanks!

    We are using Genevieve Stewart Photography for our wedding in October. Genevieve and her husband, Chad, are amazing! They did our engagement session last month, and we LOVED them and the photos!!

    We are using Coastal DJ and Video (used to be DJ Professionals and Video). George seems nice, and I know they had good reviews.

    I'm using Gingersnaps for my July wedding; Ginger Harvey was very helpful a.d interested in what I wanted and answered all my questions.Her portfolio was very good as well, so I feel good about my decision. As far as aDJ goes, my reception will be a small simple one, but I've heard that there are a number of good DJ's in the area, so you shouldn't have trouble finding one if you book early.

    I also used Genevieve Stewart and am happy thus far.  We used her for engagement photos and were happy with them.  We will be using them for our wedding in July so I will let you know how it goes!

    As far as a dj we are using John Harper.  We have met with him a couple of times and are excited to use him!  He is a real radio DJ in real life and he definitely comes off as one!

    We are using Matt Lusk for photography he's amazing!! Matt cooper for DJ not sure yet if he's amazing yet but he seems great so far!

    We are using Coleman Shots. I had trouble finding a photographer that really caught my eye and when I saw his website, I knew he was the photographer for me! I met him at the wedding expo and felt so comfortable around him. He was laid back and funny and not snobby or anything, which iinstantly relaxed me as I was nervous about picking a photographer having not met them first. We also booked his photobooth company "Nags Head Photobooths" as well.

    DJ we are going with Sue Artz of Artz Music & Photography. So she can do the whole package for you... DJ, photography (her husband is the photographer) and she also plays the violin so if you need a violinist you can have her do that as well. I met them both at the Expo as well and both were so nice and funny. Sue is really helpful and even does a timeline for you! (Thank God, because I had NO idea where to start!)

    I used Sarah D'Ambra Photography and loved them. They were laid-back and fun to work with, and I love my pictures. Also, they were one of the most affordable I looked at. I also used John Harper, and he was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about a thing. He kept everyone dancing all night and helped keep everything on track.
