  • Welcome.  I second the yum on the jerk pork.

Sounds like your planning is going smooth, which is awesome.

By the way what is this whole Hoosier/Boilermaker thing?  The only boilermaker I know is a drink that I definitely don't recommend.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Hello Fellow Knotties! : Oh phew. My FH is a Hoosier by birth... but a Boilermaker by choice. :D  (I'm also a Boilermaker!)

Ha ha, I am neither and same with my FH. He went to DePauw and I am a Michigan State fan.

[QUOTE]Welcome! Seems like you've got a great locale for the honeymoon! I wanted to do the Caribbean, but it's too long a flight from Oregon. :]

We wanted something in the same time zone as us to avoid jet lag, and the price was right!

Purdue is the boilermakers. They have a big rivalry with the Indiana Hoosiers. :o
  • Ah makes sense, and I assume this is college football and basketball, two things I don't follow ha ha.  I know all about college rivalries, since FI is heavy in to colleg hockey, specifically his alm mater.

I met FI on match, and now a few of our friends are trying it, and another one met his g/f on okcupid.

You don't like the Boilermaker? Maaan... That's okay, it's not my favorite.

Next time you're out and looking for a new drink: Baltimore Zoo. Here's hoping your local bar knows how to make it, at least. I believe it was invented at my favorite place: Harry's Chocolate Shop. (Not a real chocolate shop. It's a fantastic bar, "on" campus.)
  • Welcome! I love Jen Lancaster too.. she is hilarious!
