Hi Ladies --
I've been lurking for a few weeks now (long enough to know not to say "my future FI and I are unofficially engaged") and thought I should stop by and say hi. My BF and I are coming up on our 2 yr anniversary after having met on eHarmony and clicking right away. We've lived together for about a year. We're a little older than most of you girls on here (I'm 30, he's 36).
I'm slightly biased and think that I live in paradise (the Baja of Canada) and love hiking, skiing, mountain biking . . . basically anything I can do outside. Luckily this is something that my BF and I enjoy doing together

I probably won't be a regular on the board, but I'll probably jump in every now and then.

[QUOTE]Ooooh... you get ferry boats! Seattle is fantastic, minus all the rain. Welcome!

<div>Thanks!</div><div>
</div><div>Funny story about the ferries . . . on our 4th or 5th date, BF thought it would be romantic to take a ferry out to the islands to go to one of their nicer restaurants for dessert and wine. We take the 7pm ferry over there, have a great time on our date, and drive back to the ferry station. The lights were off and there was no boat in sight! The ferry we had taken over had dropped us off, then headed back to the mainland for the night. We were stuck on the island for the night during the off-season and lucky to find the ONLY hotel that was still open after driving around for an hour. Needless to say, we were first in line on the first boat out the next morning!</div>

I was wondering if some one would catch that :) As much as I'd hate to admit it, I really like that movie.

<div>I'm glad someone got it, because I googled it and was trying to figure out what my post had to do with a gorilla. Googling "jambo mean girls" returns an entirely different result.</div>

My blonde moment has to do with Seattle and I just feel the need to share it. On Grey's Anatomy they are based in Seattle and I thought for the longest time that there was actually a Seattle Grace Hospital and when I went to visit on vacation I thought I was going to get to see it. DOH! I'm a dork.

<div>Yeah, the cat-in-a-box is a reference to Schrodinger's problem. Its lame, but its really tough to come up with screen names when TK rejects your first 10 or so. Plus it fits with a theme from some other boards I'm on. It might go without saying, but I'm one of those nerdy engineers that fits the stereotype.</div>
