Nevada-Las Vegas

Venue

Hello all I am looking for a venue in Vegas of course for a cocktail reception. I'm looking to spend no more than 8000 for no more than 50 guest. I want on the strip and I would like to get married at the same place. Meaning somewhere in the hotel. My date is march of 2014 and I'm noticing a lot of places don't book that far out in advance. Please help, it's becoming very stressful. Thanks

I forgot to mention I wouldnt mind hors doeuvres.
  • Have you looked at Flamingo?  They have really pretty outdoor places for the ceremony and they should let you book this far out.  I was looking at May 2014 and was told that wouldn't be a problem.  I think some packages even include a room for the night.

I booked at the Mirage for next May.  It's a little more expensive than Flamingo, but for 50 people on a Sun-Thursday you could probably do 8000 or under b/c there is no food & beverage minimum on those days.

Good luck!  Finding the venue was the most stressful part for me.
We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

  • I booked my may 2014 wedding @ flamingo in the beginning of April. Some places will let you book early.

  • Planet Hollywood has some really good packages, and I love their chapel. They have several restaurants on-site, and their coordinator will work with you to either plan a cocktail reception in one of their reception rooms or a group reservation at one of the restaurants.
