Has anyone found that they are arguing more now since the wedding is getting closer? Its either the stress of the wedding, or stress of marriage, or something. we are having little arguments at least once a week. We have been together for 8 years so maybe that might have to do with it. And also we have two children.

    FI and I haven't been arguing but its almost like stress related tension. We haven't been holding hands in the car and both just try and stay out of the others way. I am trying to not take it personally we both just have so much on our plates right now.

    I am also all of a sudden really afraid of being married. Not for any logical reasons.

    We haven't been arguing more, thankfully! But I am not excited yet, I think that's partially because in Colorado we are already common law married. And partially because of my 3 page todo list I have.

    We've gotten into a few "tiffs", but quickly work through them....all of which are directly wedding-related! My FH is very opinionated but is the biggest procrastinator I have ever dealt with!!!! I'm a go-getter, if I want something, I do whatever I can to get it as quickly as possible. Polar opposites as far as this goes, but we've been good about meeting in the middle (after I set him straight, hahah).

    Little arguments are normal It'd be strange (i think) if you didn't disagree a little. Working through it and coming out smiling is what matters!! Keep your head up! :)

    YES!!! OMG...I thought it was just me. Like seriously I feel like its wedding tension. And it's sooo frustrating on top of people around me stressing out and having issues. And guess who they run and vent to.... ME! So I am starting to stress.

    We never really argue, just have "spats" once in a while.  However, they've happened a lot more in the last month or so.  We're both really on edge (well, mostly me, which eventually travels to FI because I'm upset).  Between the wedding planning, moving 1000 miles and me starting grad school right after the wedding, having to live with my mother, and general money crap (FI just got laid off), I'm losing my mind!  Don't worry, it's not just you!  I think all of us can relate!

    We have had more arguments lately too.  But when we aren't, I feel like we are more lovey dovey.  It has been one extreme or the other lately.  I can't wait for it all to be over to go back to our normal selves :)

    We haven't been arguing more but FI is extremely forgetful so he'll agree to something then when it comes up again later he'll be like "what? We're doing that? That sounds weird." That drives me up the wall but I've learned to make sure he's really focused when I tell him something and I remind him a couple times.  Alyssa I'm a little afraid of being married too.  It makes no sense since we've been together 5 years and living together for 4.5 of those years so really nothing should change.  It's just a scary concept I guess.  And I never thought I'd get married so it's still all a little strange to me.

    I dont think were arguing more.. we don't really argue.. only if he tries to pop one of my pimples and I yell.. but that's about it...

    I haven't been feeling scared to get married yet, but it's funny to see other people saying that.  My girlfriend and I were talking about the wedding a few weeks ago and she was reminiscing about planning her wedding ceremony and how weird it was to think about 'forever'.  There was some part of the vows or something that went (paraphrasing) "I will love you, forever".  She said to DH 'ummm, should we keep that 'forever' part in there?'.  He was like 'of course!'  HAHA... forever is a bit of a new concept.  I haven't made any decisions in my life so far that are forever.

    Its never anything big. But it is mostly wedding and family related. Its definitely stressful. And although we have been together for 8 years and living together for 2, I am still scared of marriage.

    yup, definitely more arguing with us to.  But I know that it is mostly me being stressed and just annoyed with all this planning.  I just can't wait for the wedding to be here and then to go on our honeymoon!!

    Same here and I think it's honestly just stress and the subconcious realization/fear around the commitment. It's all fun and games to put on a pretty wedding dress, have everyone oohing and awwing over you being a bride, getting married, etc., but it's a whole other reality to be married and committed in the very real day-to-day. Forever.

    FI and I have been engaged basically 90 percent of the time we've been dating. We got engaged after 7 weeks (it will be 8 months almost to the date when we get married). That's been really easy for me to accept but once we moved in together things got more stressful for both of us.

    We've had a LOT of change in a short period of time, plus this non-stop second job of wedding planning, and all the money that goes into it, and I got a new job (that I am miserable at).

    I for one am looking forward to getting married and moving on from the wedding life. I have loved and appreciated the process and the fun of it all, but really, we're ready to just be married at this point.

    I suspect I'll regret rushing it along when it's over and I'm bored though LOL.

    We had many small arguments about halfway through our engagement, but the closer we get to the wedding everything is flowing easier. It definitely helped when he decided to have his checks directly deposited into my account. I make all of the financial decisions which has made his life a lot less stressful.

    Oh this is us for sure - little arguments - mostly because of different ways of accomplishing things.  FI is a last minute person and I like to get things done and cross it off my list.  Its the slightly type-A, teacher side of me.  :)  For example, the band needed our first song by today - we picked it two days ago!  Which is fine, we made the deadline...But I am so not a last minute person!

    We have this issue to. He is so last minute. And I am not. Luckily though we have been on the same page as far as planning with the wedding and not waiting until the last minute unless absolutly necessary.

    FI and I haven't been arguing any more than usual every once in a while bickering, hopefully it stays that way! We've had almost a year and a half engagement, so plenty of time to plan and haven't had much wedding stress.

    It's pretty bad I'm becoming a nervous wreck so mu face Is full on broken out for him to pick at ):I have fun plucking his chest ingrowns... Yea, we are gross
